Yeah if you ever finish a project without jumping around every single video and skipping literally got the ultimate fuel injection and ECU combo for the drag Rail and then that just disappears off the channel for months, you need to like push more videos out and maybe even in order
Love to watch you guys hooning around ! We have a summer party with my bike club once a year and people turn up with all kind of crazy motors ..... usually ends with someone going to hospital !
Absolutely loving the kart... best part for me is I have a "barn find" CB550 in the garage. Originally I wanted to build a cafe racer but lately I've been looking at cross carts and now this the little tikes kart may have inspired me to build a cross cart around the 550. Time to come get some tubing and come up with a frame design.
Lemons at Barber is always a riot! I can't wait for the Lemons Recap for the race, im sure they'll have a shout-out to you guys for the most epic pit vehicle in the paddock!
Great video ya'll!! I like all ya'lls builds but believe the cozy coupe is my favorite. Looks like that was fun. Thanks for sharing be safe have fun enjoy
I used iridium plugs on my Yamaha Super Tenere because I thought they would last longer and give me a bit more boost. But what actually happened is the bike ran like crap after a few months because it had fried the plug electrode. Nothing was left to cause a spark. I had never seen a plug do that. Your explanation sounds good. It was fun watching the Cozy Coup pull the car up the hill.
That makes sense, the center electrode is usually very thin. If you are running it hard it might just melt down. Especially if the plug heat range is too hot. The thin electrode makes it easier for the spark to jump
It's a common issue. I have a 79' Honda CBX1000 I'm working on. Same problem with the vice griped oil filter. Regular People didn't have metric tools back then. 😂
That thing is soo awsome!! I have a Yamaha 750 triple that's just sitting around ..... you guys have inspired me!!! I just may make a cart out of it!!! You guys arecawsome!!
I thought cozy coop was chain drive to center of jackshaft and one chain to each tire. Then I seen wasn't a chain on right rear sprocket or was that just a huge brake rotor on the right??
The sound of a one cylinder Briggs & Stratton motor is reminisctely familiar and still not really a good sound, but so down to earth it's unavoidably cool!
More juice for more power, I'm surprised that copper spark plugs don't erode/melt faster. I'm an electrician but I know a lot about engines and it's just always surprised me, if you try to play with electricity and get arcs you get melted metal. Got a couple screwdrivers that tell the tale, crazier to think that iridium can over 90k miles. Just got thinking though if it's possible to turn a spark plug Into a Tesla coil with minimal loss of metal but enough spark to make the boom
That looks like it would be a hell of a lot of fun if you got the pedals situated better and didn't have the steering wheel as a nut cup. I would like to see you re-purpose the engine to something else. Maybe a rear engine go kart for those "road racing" type of courses you were referring to?? Just some food for thought.
Edit: Had to add a space after, 'can handle.IT'. RU-vid treated it like a link and I disagreed. 😉 V=I/R. Ohm's law will tell you all that you need to know. Your iridium plugs draw more current than the coppers points can handle. It would be like plugging in a 220v welder into a 200' extension cord. The cord will fry as the current overcomes the resistance of the copper cord. Current vs. resistance=heat. That said I have watched you guys for years. Keep up the good work and bring more of the old school style back. Don't change totally, just give us a taste of the early stuff here and there. God bless you guys and your families!
That thing is badass looking , I just came across this video and I watched a few other ones like your Back Yard 500 they looked really cool with the power wheel bodies on them , that's something I always wanted to try building a go-kart with a motorcycle engine on it but never could figure it out . I really enjoyed your videos and looking forward to seeing your future builds , Power on guys and keep up the awesome builds and videos 👍✌️
