My father was Finnish/Inuit, he died recently and I wanted to find unique way to remember/connect spiritually since we didn’t have much chance to know each other I love these tattoos they remind me much of some the Inuit art styles. Oddly since childhood it’s how I similarly automatically drew without realising or understanding why I did so. You can imagine my mind being blown away with excitement when I first saw Inuit art and felt that connection I hope such beautiful traditions and ways don’t completely become lost

Unbelievably interesting. I got here because I decided to get a skin stitched tattoo. Greetings from Czech republic.

Why get a skin stitch tattoo if not Inuit? Smells like cultural appropriation to me.

@@kilipaki87oritahiti 🎀Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery. Not everything is “Cultural Appropriation.” How do you think people and communities grow and evolve?🎀

I am a lady from California of Native Canadian decent. Recently I have picked up tattooing but have been drawn to learning in a more traditional and spiritual way. Is there anyway someone can contact me so I may be trained in this way? Peace and blessings to you.
