im looking at making similar but double rap the plastic let me explain my thought so make side frame/panel on the ground then rap the entire frame with plastic to create a double layer panel and stretch it around the entire frame and then pin the plastic with wiggle wire....make 4 panels for the sides like this then same for the 2 roof panels then put it all together so the greenhouse is double layer and no need for a blower inbetween the 2 layers....similar to the door you made on the ground but rap it 2x

It's worth a go! The double layer might keep more heat inside in the colder months. I wonder if it would make it too hot in the summer?

How has it been through the year with the wind I'm thinking of doing this

Hey! Really well, we sadly lost the roof this Spring BUT the storms were epic, 70mph gusts. The walls held up just fine! We have replaced the roof with a heavy duty, reinforced clear tarp.

I'm worried aboit the sharp edges❤

Still going strong and we have had a couple of mean storms this year so far. We did reenforce any areas where we thought the edges may be a problem with heavy-duty clear tape.

Good job! Gutting all around would be the best , of course. Harvesting the dew will be good daily addition. Fingers crossed it's no as windy there as at the shop. This next week will be pouring a 9 x 15 ft 3 inch deep slab in the backyard. 2 tonnes o ballast due the morrow to be barrowed around back of a mid-terraced property. Groan. Take care & stay safe.

Thanks Doug! Could you tell at the end how pleased I was with it lol, it can be a mission to try and do things on the cheap but sometimes the results make me feel a lot more accomplished than if I had thrown money at it, if that makes sense? 🤣 Gutted about the ballast and concrete, you will get there mate. Just remember, one foot in front of the other and it will get sorted. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday and take care!

Thank You for the idea This type poly tunnel good for growing green pepper ?

Yes! We grew Tomatoes, Tomatillos, Cucumbers and Peppers in ours this year. We have never been able to grow Tomatillos before so this worked great! If I was going to remake it, I would have taped the plastic for the roof, while it was on the ground and then lifted it over the top. We have had some really very big storms, 80mph gusts, and it has held up just fine.
