I had to find this video again because it somewhat applies to what I’ve learned lately through experience. And that’s to control the pace with men. Men meet me and get excited, wanting to give me all their money and time at a fast pace..then the rug gets pulled beneath my feet when their new toy(me) is no longer flashy. Love bombing. And sometimes its unintentional they just move with impulse. Ladies you create the pace of the relationship. Do not give a man too much all at once. It was times I needed space and a breather but I didn’t give myself that. Which later turned into regret.

I met a guy one week off a dating site and the next we were on our first date. Every thing went great, we spent the next few days after the date together. I was having car trouble he offered to pay for my car to be fixed and for me to drive his car, he was using words like we and our... cooking for me, trying to give me keys to his house, talking about marriage and me meeting his kids and all of that. Opening doors, pulling out chairs, paying for everything. Thing is we never had that conversation we were together, I didn’t want to rush things so I told him that. Things took a turn for the worse once I said that. He became distant and we haven’t spoken in days now. Question is how do I get him back where he once was with me?

I agree you should’ve played along. But this guy is running game on you. He gave you a taste of everything he could do for you (his representative) hoping it would get him closer to entering your garden of eden and when you called his bluff he decided to completely cut you off so that you can see what the other side of the coin looks like. Now he expects you to come back desperately begging for his attention and maybe even offer your garden of eden on a platter for him in hopes that that will get him to stay. Best to ignore him back and he’ll either come back or disappear for good. Either way there’s plenty of other fish in the sea. If he really was this great guy that he’s trying to pain himself out to be he would understand you wanting to take things slow
