My 1999 interview with Bruce Willis where we discussed his feelings about losing his hair, as well as an early film appearance as a courtroom extra in one of Paul Newman's most acclaimed films.
Some people just look cool with a shaved head like Bruce Willis. I started losing my hair in my late 30s so I took a razor and shaved everything off. I looked like a chemotherapy patient 🤣
Yeah my head is a funny shape so I'm holding onto my last bit of hair for dear life. Or maybe I become one of those guys that wears a baseball cap all the time.
yeah you need a good shaped head and a strong jaw line otherwise you will look like a potato with cancer. it also helps if you are not grossly overweight. however if you loose your hair women will shun you and you'll only ever be able to pay hookers once every few months or something.
I agree, I will also throw in Sean Connery and I know Clint Eastwood is still around in a way but he's a really old guy. He was still kicking a$$ in the 90s.
Pretty sure this was back around the time when he was still considered to be one of the nicest people in Hollywood. I feel like being in the industry long enough eventually got to him after a few decades to a certain degree, but at least he had a good run while it lasted. Hope he’s able to adapt to his diagnosis as best as he can going forward into the future.
Honestly, some man can totally pull off bald, even look sexier that way! 😎 Sir Patrick Stewart, Taye Diggs, Stanley Tucci, Ed Harris, Vin Diesel, Samuel L. Jackson, Mark Strong, Jason Statham, and of course the one and only Sir Sean Connery (though he never went fully bald and even grew hair back after slowing down his career).
@@masterofallgoons Yeah, actors have to worry more than most. For average guys it might just be an ego thing, but showbiz people have to worry if it will affect their ability to get work.
Handsome men look handsome without hair too. Especially if they are athletic. And men who aren't... well the hair doesn't do that much difference as you would think. The best anyone can do is get in shape, it improves how any man looks
@tvedt4673 True, but I would still argue that if there's two equally handsome men (in terms of their face), man A goes bald but works out, is muscular and athletic, man B has perfect hair but doesn't work out much, average build... then man A looks better. Sports and training brings you the kind of vitality, confidence and glow, that good hair alone can never achieve. Of course, man C who has these both is the most handsome. Having both is the ideal situation. But athletic look matters more than good hair. 50% men lose their hair at some point, instead of getting depressed over it, get jacked. All it takes is few years of hard work, and then maintaining which is easier. Instead of being depressed for decades, start the change today
@@shredd5705 Completely agree. Also, having a little bit of scruff goes a long way. One of the reasons Jason Stratham is considered so good looking despite being bald is his beard. Women these days love a man's facial hair more than they do the hair on his head, or lack thereof. Bald guy with athletic body and facial scruff is a really good look.
So many people comment on his having hair in the Moonlighting clips like it’s a shock. I guess they are too young to remember him pre-Die Hard. I always thought he was handsome either way.
