In this episode, I start the process of installing the batteries, wiring, fuse box, and amplifier in the #dirtyrottenbaystard. I needed to get my trimp pump hooked up so I could use the trim rams to remove my outdrive. Watch along to see another step get checked off the list, as well as an update on whats coming next.

I feel your pain regarding the sterndrive and engine alignment. Pig of a job and only after using the proper tool did I align my engine. Keen to see how you get on with calibrating my trim sender/limit switches which I failed to do properly.

The battery box is meant to catch any battery acid the comes out and contain it. Drilling holes in the bottom totally defeats the purpose. You might as well just strap the battery down without the box. I learned this from Jeff Cote of pacific yacht solutions channel

I have a 1985 bayliner capri 1950 model, and I am wondering what the group size for the battery should be? I couldn't tell from your video
