Hearing Sasuke yell “silence” fits so well. I can just imagine the entire room shaking the same way Paul does in Dune. I’m gonna guess you got some inspiration from that. Tsunade even says the same words the Reverend Mother says. Love this series. Can’t wait for the next part.

That punk deserved to be tried in front of the entire village wrapped in chains with both eyes and both arms missing. Same with the other 2 elders who backed him in the Uchiha massacre decision.

Despite his demeanor, he's always been 5 steps ahead of his ops in the original series and was able to stay clam and collected, no matter the situation. This part showcase he's truly Sasuke equal in terms of I.Q, maybe even his superior. Really looking forward to the next part*

Shino really feels like what I imagined he would become when I was a kid, I'm just impressed you managed to give both Kiba and Shino their moment of light without making the story boring or feel out of place. Well Kiba might be a bit less "badass" than Shino here, but he was kinda always meant to be a joke character or at least more flamboyant and less brain focused one, which was a really good contrast to the analytical cold nature of Shino and the shy kind vibe of Hinata in the team. And out of nowhere Shino became a joke character too just like Kiba. This rewrite just feel like it was meant to be that way and the original is a parody.

Sasuke is already the GOAT in regular naruto but here comes dygo making him even fucking better. That "SILENCE!" was perfect!

Yo that was perfect! Shinos play with the cloth and you keeping such good track of clone info exchange were so cool. You really make everyone feel like ninjas with how intelligent they are. Even sauske remaining calm during all that then expressing anger suddenly to stun his opponent's and audience was both a good tactic and great writing. You really do a fantastic job of writing naruto.

Dygo my man. You should start a patronite for this project. Most naruto fans olny look at power levels and stuff so dont count on like goals . Everybody is so ivlolved in each episode, im sure that a lot of people (including myself) would love to support you on that series so give us an opporutinity other than just likes.

You've really managed to make some magic here. I have to admit you lost me a bit with some of the changes to Hinata, but I do feel like those set a good precedent that this is NOT the same story. Once I eased myself into that mindset, I'm loving this series. What you've made of characters like Shino and Kurutsuchi is masterful and directly addresses many issues fans have with the original. On top of that, you set up so many clever moments that utilize the characters effectively. Shino's strategic mind is on full display here, and Karin becoming Akamaru for Sasuke is beyond perfect. Also, new additions like the Black Death Ant make sense and fit naturally into the universe. Sometimes they fit so well-like Ino being able to Mind Transfer other people-that it took me a while to realize it wasn't established in the original. Anyway, keep going with this. It's been fantastic so far. This fight scene is about to be insane and I can't wait for it to come out.

Love that our boy Shino getting the screentime he deserves. Also like these intel bluff kinda fights too. There wasn't enough of those kinda fights. It became overly flashy in a lot of parts, but people forget shinobi fights could be won or lost through intel. Nice to see all this come into play. Hope other minor characters get a time to sign and not just get dog walked though.

The whole scene at end was just fantastic a part of me actually wishes tsunade just accepted the deal

Holy S H I T. This was absolutely insane! The amount of smart plays that were pulled were immaculate. When I saw the title "Shino vs Sasuke," I hoenstly expected a battle. I mean, we did get a battle - a battle of wits. This, right here, is what Naruto is all about.

Sasuke with Executioner Blade would be weird to see but sure Also I love how Suigetsu feels natural hope he gets happy ending in his own village maybe(maybe not)and becoming actual swordmaster

Dang, I actually wanted to come up with a good comment on the last part, only to witness the next part being already out. That said, this one was giving me goosebumps. Like I love scenarios like these a lot. It felt like the Naruto infiltrating part, only that Sakuke is level headed enough to actually handle situations like these. (both were failing in the end, but with Sasuke you at least would THINK he COULD get away with it) So, about the last part, I dont know if its just my bias against Naruhina over all, But your rewrite is giving me small hopes that Naruto could actually end up with someone else as Hinata and tbh, I could totally see him and Kurotsuchi :P (but enough from my cringy shipping dreams) I really liked the Shino content in both this and the last part, he´s such a cool character to watch in action, and giving him credit is surely something I can appreciate a lot. The whole first interaction was surely something cool. Also later when Sasuke turned into Kiba (btw I would offer an F in chat for him, but on the other hand, Kiba is probably doomed to be fooder no matter the media xD) and tried to blend in with the Leaf nins. Also also, I absolutely ADORED the final confrontation with Sasuke and all the ninjas. Like YEAH he got humbled on the mind game by Shino, but else, he´s on a totally different level. Like I can believe him whiping the floor with everyone except Tsunade, (cause we know what she´s able to) but still, he would probably get away again and probably get a win even against her, since she would probably hold back like Jiraya did and he still has some tricks up his sleeve. And finally the last moments of todays part. First, Sasuke´s initial thought of...well, just return back to Konoha, if he survives killing Itachi, like yeah what else is he gonna do, he could also most likely just go back and say, yeah I went rouge, but I did not like.......leek anything or kill anyone (to that point) and if he killed someone, it was most likely only to everyones benefit, like Orochimaru and Itachi, both listed rouge ninjas as well, so if anything, a lot of higher ups could most likely say, yeah he has to sit his time behind bars and then he can go, since....yeah what are we gonna accuse him to? Runnign away as a teen? And second, I really really really would think that this could be straight out of the OG material. Like the way Tsunade dismissed Sasuke´s motivations and his goals. it really gives you the same vibe as in the original, with everyone no matter if pre or post MS awakening and his change in mind, everyone tells him that he´s wrong, everyone is like "you´re being selfish, you´re foolish and all of that." And him like snapping at her, was really accurate I say. Like Naruto really is the only one who is his equal in that regard, telling him that "Yeah man you kinda have a point tho" which prompted him to later actually wanting to find his very own way and also to be "truly" reformed. With that, thanks as always for your work on this rewrite, It is sososo enjoyable and really gives ideas to fabricate on one own. I hope that the like goal gets hit or if not, that you can maybe find the motivation to make the next part in the not so distant future. Anyway, have a great one, greetings, Riku ~

I think the strategy, deception, and spotlight for side and supporting characters as well as expanding rhe lore is the greatest stuff right now, and yet all of that still comes second to the depth and characterization you've done for Sasuke in this arc. Without getting into all the fire small moments and details, this is just amazing stuff because it really creates a strong flame of synergy between the rogue ninja Sasuke and his forgotten past. That especially felt could have used a little more. 5KS arc tbh okay at best imo as a team 7 reunion but was really peak in terms of anticipation. The floor is set for you to do some great stuff! I thought you were cooking when Sasuke gave his plan to everyone calm and collected, it was TOO GOOD. But Tsuande kinda had a point. Cant make deals with people like Sasuke. Didn't expect Shino to be big brained i was in shock when ie called him out. Everything came together in the end perfectly and the fight tension is really so HYPE RN.

Your character writing is so good! Kiba and Shino are getting screen time and development while still acting in a way that's in character and believable. So excited for the next episode. I wonder how Sasuke and Anko's jutsu will interact with each other since they were both Orochimaru's students. Also curious how Tsunade will feel about Sasuke almost killing Jiraiya...
