I’ll never forget, I was so desperate to watch Naruto as a kid, I would watch it on RU-vid in like, 240p with the small boxes and the sped up high pitched voices and the multiple parts.

Fun fact: the reason of the Naruto Shippuden Opening 10 is so weird and cheerful despite the point of the story in the arc, is that Japan just got into a massive and destructive tsunami in all of japan history, and with this opening have a purpose to up the moral of japanese citizen or cheer them up in some ways. Opening 10 is not my favorite opening but after knowing th context it just left a bittersweet feeling everytime I watch it.

I actually love "Kanashimi o Yasashisa ni" (best opening of Naruto part 1 8! my opinion) I think it actually quite fits the theme of Naruto, with the title literally translating to "Transforming your sadness (and your hurt) into kindness toward other people" and whatnot. And the visuals and comparison are quite interesting. As well, "Moshimo" is one of my favourite openings as well. In my headcannon, the songs about Obito and its motivation for the Mugen Tsukuyomi plan after Rin's death. I think you just use have a problem with high pitch and don't really look at the lyrics (which I think should be taken into consideration), but, I mean, it's a bit harsh to rule an entire part of the sound spectrum. Anyway, nice video, I appreciate your tier list.

"Kanashimi o Yasashisa ni" is probably the nostalgic song for me and that is why it is on my top 5. Seeing it on the absolute worst is definitely surprising. My favorite is either "Diver" or "Seishun Kyosokyoku".

I actually like toumei datta sekai a lot... probably would put it in my top 5 the lyrics match a lot with the moment naruto is going through. the chorus saying something like "farewell, even if you aren't in this world, I'll continue and surpass the pain" and the opening showing that jiraya isn't there anymore and naruto is stepping up to his place as a protector of the leaf is just so poetic that said, I also like Diver a lot, and I'm glad you placed it in your top 5 :)

Blue bird has actually two different versions one with the filler and the other one is with hidan and kazuz so it's actually cannon some opening has different versions like the kagua one in the end it has different versions and the sasuke rescue arc as well

I think you haven't been fair to Shippuden's 7th opening, its not great but I believe it deserves to be a bit higher, for the fact that it gives me goosebumps everytime i watch it, that's enough reason for it to rank around the ( 20's ) or close to the tens, that's my opinion tho.

mine is hero's come back, i watched naruto online in like 2021, i used to be made fun of at school and i had problems at home, not a good period of my life, watching naruto shippuden on anime unity was probably one of the only things that made made me happy at the time so yeah i'm pretty bonded to that song

Sign is my favorite Naruto Opening. I’m glad you put in top ten but I have a personal bias because Jiraiya is my favorite character in all of Naruto and how Kishimoto handled him and his death it still is the best death I’ve seen in a Shonen battle series. And the opening does a great job paralleling the two most significant figures for Naruto and Sasuke and how their passing affects both of them. Sasuke edging towards darkness and Naruto to the light. It’s good stuff.

I love Sousakanashimi wo Yasashisa ni for the same reason you love Haruka Kanata. When I first got access to online episodes I only had watched the 2 first seasons on TV, and to listen t a new opening was amazing

I think this is an interesting list because even though it does have a lot of controversial rankings, at least it's not a "boring" list. Something I noticed with fandoms (not just anime,) is that whenever lists or rankings are made, people tend to put things that make them look smarter/cooler than they really are. As in, they're picking something and their judgment is clouded by opinions of other people. Pretty much "If I put these openings at this spot everyone will agree with me teehee, I have great taste I swear." This list tells you a bit about Dygo himself which I think is something that is very cool because it shows what he values. If you watch the video Dygo states that he was someone who grew up watching the show on TV (I assume Toonami on Cartoon Network based on how the 3rd season used Haruka Kanata, and how no one watched Shippuden because no one had Disney XD,) which is something very relatable to the older Naruto fans. The best example in this video is putting Part 1's 3rd opening at the bottom because of how grating it is him. The opening itself has nice visuals because it showcases how Naruto and Gaara had similar childhoods, and even teases a young Tsunade when it shows the Sannin for a split second. It tells a story in the opening itself, so it's nice in that regard. The actual song itself? I agree that it is grating and putting that way down low means that Dygo values how a song sounds more than an opening's visuals or message. I also feel like a lot of people are missing the fact that after the first (lowest) few, he straight up says that he doesn't hate the rest. It's just how rankings work. Regardless of if the list is considered to be good or bad, at least it's how HE feels, not how he thinks the community should.

This list was made before i watched the video so sorry if i said the same things as dygo. 29: Op 7 Namikaze Satelite. The song is bad and the visuals are staight up creepy 28: Op 27 Line. Perfect to fall asleep to. 27: Op 9 Swaying. The visuals are terrible and the verse is the only decent thing about the song. 26: Op 14 Firefly Glow. The Song is just corny and not very good. 25: Op 21 Moshimo. Song: 😴 Visuals: 🔥 24: Op 8 Re:Member. The Whoo-oo-oo part and the verse ruined it. The visuals where bad to. 23: Op 19 Newsong. Goofy visuals + mid song. 22: Op 17 Diver. Its not terrible its just really forgetable. 21: Op 29 Empty Heart. Kakashi using a laptop is crazy. 20: Op 3 Sadness into Kindnes. Its a bit anoying but the drop kinda slaps and its very nostalgic. 19: Op 12 Blue Bird. It just reminds me of boredom. The filler arc during this opening was terrible. Why did this song become so popular in the first place? 18: Op 11 Distance. The Song is a bit corny but its aight. The visuals are crazy. 17: Op 22 Sudden Rain. The Visuals are the second best overall! The song is just too forgettable. 16: Op 18 Lovers. The song is good. Not anything crazy just good. Visuals are amazing. 15: Op 6 No boy no cry. The song is really energetic and good! The visuals are just really mid. 14: Op 16 The world that was. The first half is terrible. The second half is FIRE🔥 13: Op 20 Assault Rock. Its a Vibe! The song is just energetic and fun. 12: Op 4 Fighting Dreamers. The Song is great. Its iconic but the visuals are super uncreative. 11: Op 1 Rocks. Nostalgia go BRRRRRRRR 10: Op 26 Wind. The Visuals are Super creative and awesome! The song is good to. 9: Op 24 Crimson Lotus. The Song is just a underated banger. Visuals are great to. 8: Op 5 Rhapsody of youth. This opening is nostalgic, iconic and amazing. 7: Op 28 Blood Circulator. The song is just Great. Never once skipped it. 6: Op 13 Closer. Its straight up a banger! I really like the part where he sings in english. 5: Op 2 Far Away. OMG THIS IS NOSTALGIC MASTERPIECE! THIS GOES HARD! 4: Op 23 Size of the Moon. So overated! The song goes crazy hard and the visuals are straight HYPE! 3: Op 10 Heroes Come Back. The nostalgia is crazy. Like the song is just straight up a masterpiece! Never gets old! 2: Op 15 Sign. The Drop SLAPS! The visuals SLAP. Sasuke is my favorite character and this opening focuses on him which i really like! Masterpiece! 1. Op 25 Silhoutte. Best song + best visuals. BANGERRRRRRRRRRRR Anyways thats it. (Sorry for putting Blue Bird so low)

i actually really liked op 3 of naruto, idk i just dig that song kinda climatic , with all that young hokage and sannins flashbacks at backgrounds it gives me some kind of nostalgic vibe oh and pls do the endings next

May not be a fan of naruto anymore but definetly for me, most nostalgic are openings 2+3 of OG Naruto and Heroes come back for shippuden. Watching the visuals for that and seeing the thematic foreshadowing for gaara, everyone one in my family watching where collectively freaking out "noooo something bad gonna happen to gaara!!!" And seeing the camera pan for the aktsuki and the gradual adding of members in the intro was slick as heck!
