@Atomic Beast maybe if they both live in the end, they can become the new Captain and Co-Pilot of the Millennium Falcon, to honour their father and uncle respectively. Like I said in one comment, two generations of the Rogue Captain and his Wookiee Co-Pilot.
The part where Keira and Luke start to develop a father daughter relationship is very powerful and a great moment, also the veil of the force??? Man that is gonna be amazing. Can’t wait for the ending of this.

@@phoenixstudios9078 if both Sam and Lowie live through this movie and if the Millennium Falcon doesn’t get destroyed, can you have them paint it black in mourning of its original Captain and Co-Pilot?
As someone who personally would've written the sequels as more or less an abridged version of the yuuzahn vong war,Darth caedus and abeloth stories (the main narrative being about abeloth manipulating the vong and later jacen solo, eventually causing the Republic, imperial remnant and vong to team up to defeat her),with a lot more characters from the EU such as mara jade. (The thrawn anthology being adapted as an animated series like clone wars) This is really good,I'm looking forward to the next few parts and future projects...
In inclusion of Corsaunt I feel is a nice way to tie the Prequels into the Sequels, and whilst I understand that when people tell sequels they want to tell a new story which I agree with, I feel that in the sequels the Prequels were barely knowledges, I am very interested to see how this goes
@@phoenixstudios9078 this is superb. When you killed Plageueis I was worried. I felt it was a waste of an interesting character but this hunt for the Whills to find....God basically is thrilling Will Kylo be the main villain or is something else going to come?
@@billmcdermott9647 That's so awesome to hear! I hope you enjoy what I have in store. And yes, Kylo is the main antagonist and will remain that way for the rest of the story.
I'm so glad that you mentioned & included the whills in this rewrite. I always wonder what if Disney did use George Lucas' sequel trilogy ideas with theirs. I like how you use Lucas' sequel trilogy ideas from his treatment that has the whills (from the microbiotic world in his story) to Colin Trevorrow's concept. Well done my friend 👍
At least Chewbacca died with dignity. Farewell, old friend. That spy reveal was a complete reversal of the Hux thing they did in The Rise of Skywalker, and I like it. With how violent it gets, you think this would fly with Lucasfilm if it were proposed to them for the actual Episode IX? The Yuuzhan Vong would probably be really terrifying to the younger audience. I considered the titles. I know you'll be sticking with Dawn of the Paladins for your rewrite, but at first I personally thought Dawn of the Gray sounded like a good compromise between that and The Rise of the Gray. When it turned out that a lot of people favoured A New Age, I decided to come up with something myself that sounded like, well, an extra Star Wars-y version of such a title. I came up with A Gray Order's Dawn and laughed at it's abbreviation, making my decision final. What do *you* think of A Gray Order's Dawn? Is it dumb sounding, or the opposite?
You bring up a good point about the Yuuzhan Vong and the violence. They'd probably try to censor it, and if I was a director or producer on this film, I would've compromised with Disney by keeping the violence but never showing any gratuitous scenes ex: cut away to a different angle whenever a character gets beheaded.
There better be an Ahsoka Tano statue or 1 of her lightsabers in the Jedi temple museum, Phoenix. BTW Great job on these videos EDIT: When Kylo said a world between worlds, I gasped with pure animated joy
@@phoenixstudios9078 I think an example of the Sacrificial Lion is Stanley Uris from IT. Him dying can give an insight into how traumatic the summer of 1958(or 1989 in the movie) was for him.
@@guspeixoto7740 So I didn't read the book, but my coworker did. And he told me that the film made Stanley out to be a Sacrificial Lion, when in the book, he committed suicide out of pure fear. The film adaptation gave the suicide a more noble context.
Can't wait for this man, the original Ep IX definitely needed some work. Excited to see what you do with the prequel trilogy as well - your version of Ep 1 was perfect.
I like the story and it feels visceral and a bit darker. Nothing wrong with that but there are some bits that stick out of place compared to the feel Star Wars normally gives, like in scene descriptions like pools of blood and savage beating scenes. The only flowing blood i can remember in previous movies is Anakins mom before she dies and that's just a few cuts on her face. All the other "gruesome" deaths and dismemberments in Star Wars are from lightsabers that immediately singed whatever wound like Maul cut in half, Luke's lost hand, and Anakins dismemberment on Mustafar. Don't get me wrong i dig your story and its way better than the movies but its just the blood descriptions in this and previous videos just stick out like a Wookie in a Ewok village.
True. Can't deny that. I'm sure in real life if this rewrite were what really happened, Disney would've only allowed General Ematt to have a swollen face and some bruises and cuts. But nothing crazy.
Oh damn, really? Do you have the little bell notification activated on your channel? Regardless, I thank you for your praise, good sir! This particular video was a beast to tackle.
I had this idea where at the end of 'Dawn of the Paladins' the Jedi temple could be shown and it is now a memorial site. It shows C3P0, R2, Rey, Lando, Finn and Poe walking past holograms of Leia, Han, Chewbacca, (Luke if he dies) Bail Organa, Anyone died in the ghost crew, Rouge one squad, Yoda, Obi wan, Anakin, Mace, Plo Moon, Qui Gon, Padme, Rex, (Ahsoka if she dead) Admiral Akbar and Ewoks, Jedi, Clones and more. As if to show all the people who was lost for the great cause.
This was superb mate. No offense to anyone who enjoyed the original Tros but I can’t even make it through the whole film but this had me hooked. I love the voice acting it’s very well done and the concept art is highly well done as well. Part 3 is gonna be a blast I can already tell
Aww thanks man! The best think to do is take advantage of the benefit of hindsight and lack of studio deadlines. Give your story as much time as it needs to be the best version of itself that it can possibly be :)
When you eventually get to your Justice League rewrite, if you use the same team, I think that it’ll be cool if both Flash and Cyborg got their powers in Metropolis. Where Barry is able to forgive Clark for his mistake, but Victor is not. I think this can create conflict within the team. Maybe something to add to Victor’s hatred is the fact that his father had finally come to one of his games that day, and then the accident happened. What is your opinion on this idea?
This is amazing, you really put a lot of effort into this, the story has been great so far, the voice actors did a great job and the artwork for the characters look so good

@@guspeixoto7740 No. Finn and Rey's chemistry was replaced with Kira and Sam's chemistry in my rewrite. Because Sam was the original charismatic character in Episode 7 before being replaced by Finn in later drafts.
Oh my god I love this so much defiantly one of our best rewrite episodes can’t wait for more. I have a question for you how the hell did you make this go good?
Do you mean the story or the editing? Because for the story, the answer is I took my time with it and I had the benefit of refining it for as long as I needed to without having to worry about a deadline. For the editing, I had to bust my ass to come up with a decent video. It was a hard grind this week.
Ooooh man I didn't see these when they came out! Dang it, RU-vid! I love this series, I just pretend this is the real sequel trilogy. Also hello 18:54 I recognise my little suggestion, I got so giddy when I heard that

@@phoenixstudios9078 quick question. Do you plan on giving C-3PO a heroic moment? Because that was one of the few good things about Rise of Skywalker. He finally got a heroic moment.
Could you name a show or movie that you personally like that the majority don't? & could you name a show or movie that you personally hate that the majority love?
I can name several. For the first question, my answers are James Cameron's Avatar (at least in the film community, my peers didn't like it), Thor the Dark World and Amazing Spider-Man 2. For the second question, my answers are Logan, Stranger Things, Goonies and Blade Runner (both of them). Now I don't hate any of these movies, but I personally don't share the same appeal for them like everyone else does. I think they're a little overrated.
That’s awesome, dude. Although, I would maintain Rey being born to a couple of nobodies who traded her off for a drink. I thought that it was a good message that you didn’t always need to be born into greatness to become great. That’s my personal opinion, but I still love your rewrite 😁
Thanks! I don't know where people are getting this conception from that "nobodies" cannot rise to greatness in Star Wars. The franchise is filled with characters who started from the bottom and climbed their way up into greatness. Literally all of the supporting characters who are in the Jedi Order are a testament to that. They're all a bunch of nobodies who were chosen by the Force to be its vessels. I think the real issue people are trying to communicate when they say that "you can only be great if you're bon into it", is that all of the main characters in the Star Wars franchise have to be in some way related to the Skywalkers. But that issue in itself is invalid because that's the whole point of all 9 films that make up the Skywalker Saga. Hence the name. It's an odyssey about the Skywalker family. Nonetheless, thank you for the comment and support 😊
I loved your entire rewrite. Except Kira being a Solo. But I can understand storyline purposes. Loved the title. Would you have kept 7 & 8's titles the same or changed them as well?
I usually look at what the original film was trying to go for and I'll take that concept but execute it in a more faithful way. But with films that are lacking strong cohesive moral messages like TROS and TF2, I'll resort to looking at the characters and what arcs or development they were given. Because 9 times out of 10, the lesson the protagonist learns in their character arc is the moral message of the whole movie. And seeing as how Rey had half-assed character development of her potentially succumbing to the Dark Side, I decided to take that concept and refine into the character arc that I have for this rewrite. The one where her insecurities and her anger are constantly being provoked by her enemies. Then from there, it kinda just came together like dominos. Because once I had Kira's arc, I was able to write Sam's and Kylo's fairly easily, and that all helped me create the main theme AKA controlling idea for this rewrite.
@@wormbag80 Don't worry, figuring out the core of your story can sometimes be the most challenging part. Because without a theme, your story doesn't exist. The theme IS the whole point of the story. And if you don't have a theme, then you don't have a character arc. And if you don't have a character arc, then you don't have strong characters. And if your characters are weak, then so is your story. Easier said than done, but it really is as simple as that :)
Personally I would have made Rey/Kira's lightsaber yellow just to kinda make her stand out with an colour not seen in the films, whatever floats your boat.
Well there was always a symbolic context to the color of lightsabers so I just kept in line with that philosophy of thinking. Blue has always been for Jedi who overcame their trials through physical action rather than meditation, thus highlighting their role as guardians (which is why most Jedi Knights had blue lightsabers). Green was reserved for Jedi who preferred to overcome their obstacles with meditation rather than physical action. They were known for having the strongest connection with the Force out of all of their peers and they were much more dependent on the will of the Force when it came to problem-solving. That's why green was usually given to Jedi Masters. Now yellow (at least in the Disney canon) is a color that is meant to represent the balance of the Force within a person's soul. That is why yellow lightsabers were usually reserved for the stoic Jedi Sentinels who served as guards in the Jedi Temple. So keeping in line with that symbolism, blue was the most appropriate color to use for Kira at this point in her life. Because even if she wasn't burdened with her character arc, Kira would still choose to solve all of her problems with physical force rather than spiritual force because of her straightforward personality.
@@phoenixstudios9078 Ah I see that now, yeah that makes sense, with the exception of Anakin during episode II Attack of the Clones where Anakin's blue saber gets destroyed earlier and he's given a green blade to fight Dooku, serving as a parallel to Luke only that the green I think displays Anakin's arrogance and overconfidence, but when he fights both with Obi Wan's blade in tandem with the temporary green it shows his bond with Obi Wan despite their differences, but when Dooku destroys the green blade it likely symbolises Anakin failing to become a master like Luke does, even losing his arm to Dooku. Though infact Dooku was actually meant to wield the blue saber in his fight with Yoda which was actually kept in a comic version of Attack of the clones, which I believe symbolises Dooku's fall from being a Jedi, but I feel it was a better choice for Anakin to have two blades as the novel of Attack of the Clones goes into Obi Wan's thoughts on why he passed his blade to Anakin, that being Anakin would expire too much energy allowing Dooku to defeat him and given Obi Wan's injuries he couldn't help Anakin, so giving Anakin another blade would allow him to at least last a lot longer throwing off Dooku who hated dual wielding lightsabers, and Anakin actually had knowledge of Niman a lightsaber form that was a basis for the Jar'kai form of dual wielding and while Dooku saw this as a sad attempt to employ the technique, it at least bought them enough time to be saved by Yoda, as let's face it Anakin would have been screwed given he was not a form V master at this point. Sorry for a bit of rambling but just thought I'd make reference to that, and maybe Anakin could have this dual wielding in your eventual rewrite of Episode II?
I think the themes the sequel trilogy was trying to have were the themes of does heritage and family. For the heritage theme Kylo Ren was trying to finish what his grandfather started and before Rey was revealed to be a Palpatine Rey was to represent that anyone can be something without coming from someone special. But when she is revealed to be a Palpatine they then changed it to does her heritage defy who she is as a person. For the theme of family Rey wanted to find her parents, Kylo Ren wanted he was betrayed by Luke and wanted to become the next Darth Vader, Finn wanted to leave the First Order and joined the Resistance after seeing that they see each other like family thanks for the help of Poe. Rose needed to cope with her sisters lost so she attached herself to Finn. So in the end all of them would see each other as family and realize that they need each other to survive. Don't take what I just said too serious remember this is just speculation I'm not trying to say "I'm right, you're wrong". Because you are right that the sequel trilogy did have two different directors so that caused problems with the themes they were trying to tell. What do you think of my thoughts do you agree or disagree?
I can definitely see where you're coming from. I haven't heard anything from what Abrams wanted the themes of the sequel trilogy to be. That doesn't mean he hasn't shared his thoughts on the matter. I just haven't come across them.

I always thought that if Snoke returned in some way in IX, but actually rivalled Kylo, with Kylo sending the First Order into a suicidal war against whatever Snoke’s forces would be. And then it could culminate in Hux organising a coup to stop the now mad Kylo
That being said, this rewrite is great. The editing style is great and I’m loving the direction you’ve taken it in. And that Chewie scene really got me. I’m confident in your ability to pull it off
The reason I’d choose Snoke is that I would have made in a fallen Whill who essentially feeds off the dark side and the chaos that came after the fall of the Empire. And it could even be revealed that Snoke made Anakin, as a way to tie the trilogies together and retroactively make Snoke the main villain

Same cast except for Sam Solo I'd hire either Jared Padalecki or Sebastian Stan. I'd probably have a mix of my own people and original crew members. As for WW1984, it's a movie that definitely had potential but was an unfortunate casualty of COVID.
@@davidcardinales8939 Because of the quarantine, it caused the studios and the crew to rush the film. Everything felt like it was in its rough draft; the script, the VFX, the soundtrack, everything. As someone with a background in film, it's very easy to see where things were rushed and why. I totally understand the crew's situation and I truly do sympathize with them. They're great at what they do. Especially Patty Jenkins. But all of their talents and skills were cut off at the knees when the pandemic hit, the quarantine was announced, and everyone had to wrap up what they were doing on WW1984 and then stay at home. That's what I mean by this film being a casualty of COVID. If it wasn't for the quarantine, this film would've probably been pretty good just like the first one.

I watch (or re-watch) the original film as many times as needed to pick it apart. I look for the best and I look for the worst parts of the movie. Then I write down a bunch of notes. Then from there, I write my script. I record my audio and I generally have that edited if not no the same day as I recorded, then 2 - 3 days after. Then it takes me roughly 1-2 weeks to edit the footage and music, depending on how much time I have available.
To be fair, everyone who works at Lucasfilm is a diehard fan of the franchise, and I think they could've thrived without George having to sell his company. All of those talented storytellers and artists were held back by Disney. It's getting better now, with the backlash of the sequels finally letting Disney and Kathleen Kennedy give project leaders like Dave Filoni more creative control. But you can really tell how much Dave Filoni's storytelling was being hampered if you watch Rebels and compare it to the Clone Wars. Two shows that he worked on as the show runner, but each one took place during a different era within Lucasfilm and you can definitely feel Disney's influence and censorship in Rebels.
Do members of Renegade Battalion have different weapons, or are they limited to blasters? Like examples of different weapons are some have swords, some have staffs, and some even have similar weapons to the Knights of Ren?
No, they'd mostly just bring the weapons that they had with them when they left the First Order. Seeing as how undersupplied the Resistance is, the only resources their people would have would be whatever they bring with them when they join. So Renegade Battalion would have to just use the same First Order equipment that they've always used. Except they've customized their armor and given it paint jobs and whatnot.
