Rexie's Sewing Room 

Here we are in Rexie’s Sewing Room, otherwise known as the Guest Room. As we come in there is her new sewing machine, the Bernina on that special sewing desk.
We will start over here on this side, that is her cutting table, it is a rising table, it goes up and down. I put together the frame for this cutting board so it is easy to move and it stays nice and steady since it has a sticky mat underneath.
Here is another rising desk over here for assembly. She can raise it up and down. She has a light board over there and a couple Ott lights.
She has an AccuQuilt roller cutting machine for patchwork.
This is the Murphy bed for when the kids come, it just folds down off the wall. We just move stuff around and put some things into the closet or garage.
That is her ironing table, I made the board for her and we mounted it to an ironing table frame. There is a small shelf thing in the back there for storage.
This is her small cutting table. Sometimes she will put her Singer sewing machine there when needed. She has a pegboard hanging here for tools and above that is some of the things she has made.
There is a wheel cart for smaller things. We can just wheel it into the closet and put it away when the kids come.
There is her little drawer set and table for the small ironing pad.
This of course is her fancy-dancy Bernina sewing machine, the Bernina. It cost about the same as a small car, but it is worth it. She does here main sewing here, using a specially made adjustable sewing table.
There is the closet where she can put all the stuff when the kids come. She keeps things she does not need every day here and some of the furniture and TV for when it this room is used for a bedroom.
We are back to the beginning again. She has a lot of room and she spends a lot of time in here. When the kids come it takes about 10 minutes to put the stuff away, then it is a fully functional bedroom. We put tile in here to make it easy to roll the chair around and move the furniture to convert it from sewing to sleeping and back.
