Last year, although he couldnt make to blizzcon but i saw a champion in Reynor’s playing, as Ive been a SC fan for 20 yrs i had recognised that he’s different, he’s not just an ordinary European player, but he could compete against Serral and Korean players. As i’m Korean and a sc fan, i’m so glad that i feel like this game has been even more globalised than last year(which is funny it’s not even a Korean game lol). Anyway, I can’t wait to see the blizzcon 2019!
Hey, your country is the biggest reason all of these global competitors are appearing. If Koreans hadn't made it so incredibly tough, we might not have players like Serral and Reynor showing up in the world.
Truestm It reminds me of playing chess against yourself. These two know almost exactly what their opponent is going to do because theyre thinking the same
hellape25 exactly, and their matches literally come down to how they’re feeling on that day. Repeat this series every few days and i bet you’d get a different result almost every time.
Maynard: "It's alright Maynard. I do the same thing, too." Haha he took the words right out of my mouth and made me laugh at the same time. Seriously, the casting is what makes this a show rather than just a replay. And I don't quite try hard enough at this game to watch other people's replays, at least not yet. Thanks for puting on an awesome show, guys. good times

Military strategests? I would forgive that claim if this was the wargame series, but no, they’re the best at starcraft. Not the best military strategists.
Few months ago, I thought Reynor was really good, but he were still sloppy here and there, he was still no match for Serral But just less in a year, he has proven his worth. Amazing
@@misspurdy27288 Just give Reynor some time. He's already improved monumentally from how he was just a couple months ago... I'm sure he can do something equally as impressive.
Molly Renata I was saying serral already had such a sick career. There isn’t an achievement greater than winning *every* tournament your required to be in for an entire season.
@@misspurdy27288 Ah, fair point. lol I do think it'll only be up for Reynor from here though. I'd love to see the rivalry between these two develop further!
Its crazy how pumping out 5 muta's forces queens, a handful of spores and the lost mining time associated, then 3 minutes later you're down 30 army supply as a result.
That’s the point. Also raynor really didn’t even need to make the mutas once serral saw the spire. The spire is a big threat, so it *has* to be countered. If raynor went serious into a muta flock you need two spores per base *and* a huge queen force.
Weird how i enjoy watching ZvZ compared to the popular opinion. It's somewhat fun to see multiple blobs of meat and gore spitting puke acid at each others on creeps till it became a battle of attrition.
Still here in 2021... with tears in my eyes. I love watching Reynor so much! And the other thing I will say... f*ck covid! I can't wait until these players will be able to play LAN events again. What an indescribable feeling to see the crowd cheer for their favorites! And of course love to see the interview with Smix and the trophy lift.
You know, as boring as it can seem to be for one person absolutely dominating a sport, I find that it gives the rest of the competition a new level of achievement. Suddenly it goes from "winning" to "overthrowing," and I think that makes the eventual victory for anyone that much more satisfying and monumental. Reynor has a victory that's much bigger than WCS Finals. He took down the literal king of Starcraft 2. It will be a long, long time before anyone can share that claim with him. And Serral, well... he's probably just gonna get even better and scarier after this. :)
Am I crazy, or did I not watch this, like, a months ago? I recognise so much of the dialog, and was able to predict matches, I've definitely seen this before. What, am I suddenly clairvoyant?
I believe Serral was a little bit on tilt after Reynor made that crazy push in the 4th game. The sudden stress it created got him out of balance and he lost his calm.
Serral is better at harassing and grabbing units here and there, but Reynor showed better micro during the big battles, splitting troops to dodge biles and getting some good blinds and yoinks.
How did Reynor get such supply advantage the last game? Serral denied his 3rd, had his own 3rd faster, Reynor then went for mutas which is an investment, and two minutes later he is up in supply and in upgrades? How?
@@Yayaloy9 Mutas were also killing zerglings, harrassing drones, forced more queens/static Defence, killed a few overlords, and the vision/APM taxing that Serral had to do to keep an eye on them probably hurt too
Game 4 was not some genius play the casters are making it out to be... he lost his entire worker count, decided trying to replenish would cost him the game and just built up his army and went all in one giant attack...
Mintistic considering most players at that level would probably just quit it wasn’t that expected I guess And he did get good placement and control in the fight
@@misspurdy27288 Cmon man... i was watching with friend and i told him 3 times, that raynor will have critical mass army. And if serral is not verry prepared he will lose. Raynor got 150 army suply , ofc it is dangerous. Seral doesnt see what we see as spectators, and he sligly underastimated army. Hydras, lurkers, and some roaches are verry strong. I saw that raynor is making hydras that are 2 suply so i knew that push will be strong. I was shouting "regroup" 5 mins before attack. For me it was obvious... why to lose drones and make suply efficient army if u wont attack....
don't watch too much starcraft stuff Watched recently the 2018 Championship where serral a non korean finally defeated the best gamin nation Hmn this is quite enjoyable Watches this WHAT ARE THOSE MECHANICAL ZERG SKINS WHAT?!
Queens and Banelings need to get tuned down a notch. It's too easy to defend a base, and it's too easy to pick off workers. As a SC2 fan, I'd like to see the other classes get a chance too and not just be distracted momentarily, then have their workers annihilated by these small, maneuverable, cheap and expendable Banelings.
Another ZvZ in the WCS Finals, surprising absolutely no one. Is anyone tired of seeing this matchup? (Don't get me wrong, I love both players, I just dislike the race imbalance in SC2 right now.)
9:48 GOD King....HAHAHAHAAHA. Now that blizzard is gonna nerf zerg to the ground, I don't see any zerg making in the finals in the near future. Korean Terrans are gonna rule the world again
Hey guys.... I know u are pro commentators but no one of u guys react on the 4th game when Raynor snipped all the viper before the A move..... I guess to much vodka..... By the way would it be worth it if serral killed all his worker to get more army supply don't know but feel like this 4th game was stolen from the very good Raynor
But raynor won game 4... As for your worker suicide suggestion, that doesn’t happen until the map mines out, then all the workers either become spores or die.
