Rezoning an ENTIRE CITY in Cities Skylines 2!
Cities Skylines 2 gameplay today buidling a huge expansion in an attempt to rapidly increase the city's population! Since we maxed out how much money we can have, we have infinite money to expand the city as much as possible (ie - until the game breaks).

Kibz, idk how you don't know this, but the demand for different types of properties depends on taxes in CS2. So: if you have a lot of demand for low density, but want to make high density, you can increase the taxes on low density

You can't change taxes based on zone density in cs2

@@radiation3041 you can? It's literally one of the features. You can even change it based on density and education for housing, while for other types of zoning you can change it only based on density.

In CS1 you change taxes based on zoning density, but in CS2 you change it based on education level

Hey Kibz, I don't know if you know, but you can get both American and European signature buildings in the same city so long as you meet the requirements, may have to even more rezoning though!

I find when i want to get the most zoning tiles the best way to do it is to turn off "snap to existing geometry" and "snap to lines"

I love how one of the greater PR promise about the 2, and the new AI and gamemotor was "better trafic management who will resolve all the issues of the 1" Well... Oupsy ? 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 And with the road nightmare you so much love to build, it's even worst 😱 Yet so fun to see ❤👍

@@vidmasterK1 dépend... I find it fun to watch, but I'm not play it (I wait for it to be more mature) and the games as many good points. Just the graphics when you are close and go around your city, ground lvl, are a real treat. Like all games, all depend of what you want, and what you like 🤔

While watching this video, I quickly checked the maximum limit for population in a city for CS2; there's no limit. If your computer had a ton of storage, this city could reach 1M people; maybe 2M as well....

Now that money is not a problem you should lower the residential taxes, even drop it to the negatives. That will encourage more and more and even more people to move in so you can exploit them for labour!

mr kibbs, in vanilla you can use pathways to correct zoning by blocking the road you dont want it on, also making grids work well is such a pain sometimes! overextending the road past where you want it sometimes seems to work

By the way if you place paths along the sides of your roads that are messing up your grid it will usually fix it

You need a challenge... Try to do a separate save of your current city. Try to spend all the 2 billion on everything possible. Because i don't think it would be actually that easy to spend 2 billion since most stuff is pretty cheap in the game. You would have to do some mega condensed city and it would be a pretty interesting build/video

I have wanted someone to do a city doing this, IMO it dosn't have to be a "no cars city" - but limit them extremely. if you use the Pedestrian boulevards; emergency services, post and garbage can still be collected and goods delivered to shops...

Just so you know kbiz radio mast would be close to each other in cites because the glass reflects the Rf wavelengths back inferring with the other antennas because the bounce back and forth off each other

I wish you made a guide on how to make a good city, plan industry areas, logistics, etc. All my cities just turn into a mess after 25k population and i cant progress further :(

Please don't get rid of incinerators and landfills in favor of industrial waste processing, those are actually different things. Industrial waste processing DOES NOT GET RID OF GARBAGE, it kinda just removes industrial pollution somewhat

What about road maintenance services? Perhaps the insufficient provision of road maintenance services is contributing to a significant number of road accidents? If I remember correctly, it's a feature in the game, right? 🙁
