Finishing up the Branikald series, we're going over the last four albums, which for whatever reason appear to be criminally underrated by the black metal scene writ large... let's see if we can fix that!

Great after work treat. Love all the callbacks you do. I myself think Forgot is deserving of a video. I know you touched on them briefly in a video and when talking of wizard. Perhaps that barathrum episode too.... yeah man.... take care hope youre doing good

I actually do have one planned on their demos on the Asgard Mysteries comp, as well as the Boreal Wind album, the two Sanguine Eagle full-lengths, and maybe Walknut and Sternatis. Kind of a children of Blazebirth Hall thing, if that makes sense.

Hey, i got to say i appreciate these videos. as someone young into black and death metal its hard as fuck to find out about bands, metal archives is pretty much useless when your trying to fire more info than just the genre and albums.

Yeah, Nitberg's great, been revisiting the EP and the two albums a lot recently. Actually managing to get a physical copy of Donnerwetter Donnerwyrd a few years ago was a major coup for me.

There are some videos of Kaldrad performing live vocals with Велимор sorta showing off his movement towards more rac oriented stuff like you pointed out. Looking forward to more bbh content

I was actually just listening to the pure RAC band he was in, Вандал (Vandal), the other day too. I'll probably due more detailed stuff about that on the Nitberg episode. Velimor indeed is pretty fantastic.

I always considered Nitberg to be inferior to earlier BBH projects until i finally checked their final album. Timeless masterpiece!

Yeah, that one's really cool. It's actually almost more of a Raven Dark / Wotan Sølv continuation than a regular Nitberg release since it's all based on Ulv Gegner's songwriting ideas arranged by Kaldrad and Stringsskald. I don't know how many people actually heard it when it came out but it's a really cool sort of capstone to the BBG legacy.

This has always been my favorite era for Branikald and Ulvegr is my favorite album. Also I know where you got the impression that most Branikald fans don’t care for this era and if I were you I wouldn’t take Metal Archives reviews all that seriously for opinions on nsbm.

You started and finished a Branikald series (which no complaints there) before you finished your Lucifugum series. Also, you did the new arghoslent and gbk whilst having yet to mention le retour from kpn (you mightve, i havent been up to date on thb episodes). You're a hard man to read.
