I agree that the Russians had the greatest losses during WW2 and contributed a tremendous amount to ending that war. They should of got more credit than they did. Yes we should have helped them after WW2 like we did the worlds enemy Germany.

RFK,Jr completely makes sense in this interview in every sense, i resonate with him completely America has to come to its senses by the way his uncle was a icon of a president no one has surpassed him since cheers all from the UK.

I have no problem with RFK as president flying to Kremlin to meet with Putin and Zelensky. Why not TRY to broker a peace deal at least? What's wrong with trying to understand the legitimate security concerns of our adversaries? They already had a signed treaty and we sent Boris to Kiev to prevent it from going through. For whatever reason, U.S clearly wants this war ongoing. At the cost of young Ukrainian soldiers.

There's a video on RU-vid showing the really rich Ukrainians going to live to Monaco. I guess it must be the same for Russians...the point is..that if truly given a choice very few would be fighting that war...

I can understand his position on "provoking" Russia in meaning that things that happened were not favourable for Russia, but as Polish citizen I cannot ignore the fact that we WANTED to join NATO. It is not NATO that expanded. They didn't come here with dirty boots and demanded obedience, as Russians did during and after ww2. Poland, when got the chance and possibility, decided to join forces with an alliance that can guarantee it's sovereignty and shield it from Russian threat, which was very, very, very real. We know what happened with Kukliński, and how he literally prevented ww3, or at least Russian army moving into Poland. Invasion on Ukraine was purely protection of Russian interests, sphere of influence. Russia as a country wasn't in any danger. They sit on the biggest natural resource reserve in the fucking world. There is no way anyone would attack Russia. It's just that Russia couldn't handle the fact that their way of running politics, which is through threats and making people life miserable is being rejected(duh). Just think about it. The biggest country in the world with the biggest resources reserve. Absolutely huuuge potential. They should be runing moon bases at this point. But their citizens are poorer than any average citizen of any western country, including Baltic states. How the hell is that possible ? Why would you want to be part of that "wonderful" society ? There is no excuse for war in Ukraine. It was pure land grab and now hundreds of thousands people are dead because of it, and it's just warming up. I don't doubt for a second that there are international interest at play and USA is not saint at all, but eventually it comes down to a decision of a nation. Ukraine as a nation decided, as well as Baltic states decades ago, that they don't want to be part of Ruski Mir, because the west has way more attractive offer. That's the whole point. If Russia had better offer, Ukraine would choose Russia. After the wall collapsed and Germany was united it was clear as day how backwards was eastern part of it and how backwards are Baltic countries that were on the WRONG side of the iron curtain. We don't want that, Ukraine don't want that. We want prosperity and right to self determine ourselves. That is what western way grants us and we are happy to be part of western society.

Well said. I hope there will be a regim shift in America. Putin has tolerated a lot from the US and its allies so far. He has not his hands on the button, or he would have pushed it for a long time ago during the continuous course of American aggression. I think it is a good and sound policy to treat russia as friends. Nobody wants a destroyed Europe. Europe is currently not strong enough to withstand any war against Russia, with its military might.

I like you, Mr Kennedy, but don't mess with our 2A. If I felt more secure with that, I would vote for you in a heartbeat. This was in Ukraine is a perfect example of why we have to keep that constitutional right forever!

As a Ukrainian, I must admit that RFK is very correct about our politics and how things are going. Huge respect for him. One of few politicians in the US who openly says what's been going on here for years. I wish we had such a candidate here in Ukraine.

The key point that “we should make friends with russia” is not a new idea. One could argue that has been the main approach we have had in Europe, including Russia in trade, turist exchange etc. Creating dependencies. This is today a source for disappointment and sadness. It did not work, now what? A marked increase in military spending is the short term answer. (Clarification: increased military spending is not my suggestion or recipe but rather an observation of what is happening).
