Horrible. My great grandfather used to play ball with the Kennedy brothers when they lived in Brooklyn. He always said what wonderful brothers they were.
@scooty470 Why are you angry at the entire family & feel the brothers "got what they had coming" when it was the father who was the evil one? Why should they all pay for one mans sicko-ness???
tragic death for these brothers. Some secret groups in that country really does not want anybody to interfere to their operations even if you are one of the most powerful leader in the world.
I have been fortunate enough to have provided video production services for the Robert Kennedy Memorial in Washington D.C. on what would have been his 80th Birthday. Robert Kennedy is one of my heroes in my life and I am so grateful for his life and legacy that we will continue to honor in the years to come. God bless his family.
RFK was supposed to go to a hastily arranged press conference and then on to a private party at a LA nightclub called "The Factory". After his victory speech, he was redirected through the pantry/kitchen area as it was felt to be a shorter route to the press conference--that "shortcut" cost RFK his life
Can we first understand facts before making declarations? At the time of his assasination, RFK was a US Senator from NY running for president. Before being a Senator, he was US Attorney General. Neither of these jobs gave him authority to send any planes, bombs, or troops to Israel or anywhere else. Those are facts.
Not sure who you are replying, or even why are you making the statement. I love Robert Kennedy, he was one of the best people we ever had. However, he said what he said, and he wasn't talking about in his current position. And I am neither for nor against what he said. Understand why Sirhan would have been against it. Whether or not he was part of a conspiracy or just wanted to do it and was drugged up for the event, I hope someday we know.
But what could RFK have done as president of the USA is what the assasin was likely thinking. I'm not justifying anything, but it was widely known RFK backed ensuring a permanent and enforceable guarantee of Israel's right to live "secure from invasion, and free passage for ships of all nations through the Gulf of Aqaba and the Suez Canal". His firm stand on this evidently propelled the assasin (4:10).The date Israel seized East Jerusalem and other Arab territories in the Six Day War was June 5-10, 1967. So there was an opportunity for a furious mind to lash out at the time and place which coincidently came together. That's why we have to always be aware of circumstances. The world throws alot of angles at us...if one takes a stand, one's stepping on someones toes somewhere in this world...
I know right! When I see the footage of either the JFK or RFK assassination, or both, I am still stunned and almost go into shock, every time. I just still can't believe this happened, two times! Makes me sick! It would be such a better world today if the Kennedy brothers had lived. What could have been 😞
By his own account, Cesar was directly behind my dad holding his right elbow with his own gun drawn when my dad fell backwards on top of him. Cesar repeatedly changed his story about exactly when he drew his weapon.' He then added: 'According to the Coroner, Dr. Thomas Noguchi, all 4 shots that struck my father were “contact” shots fired from behind my dad with the barrel touching or nearly touching his body.'
I made a special trip to L.A. in 2005 to visit the Ambassador Hotel about one month before it was torn down. Somehow they granted me permission when they had closed it off to the public at that point. I was able to pay my respects to your father there in the pantry area and it was one of the most moving moments in my life. Little did I know then that later I would make contact with the Memorial Foundation in D.C. that Kerry ran and was able to meet your mother and three of your sisters on what would have been his 80th Birthday. I was there to do some filming for the Memorial and it has been one of the most cherished memories of my life. I am so thankful for the legacy of your Father and I will continue like so many others he touched to live my life by by the values that he believed in. God's richest blessings on your family.
David Ono said that an ABC News Reporter was on the air live....but it was not an ABC reporter...it was Mutual Radio's Andrew West and he was recording the scene. He was not on the air live. What a stupid mistake to make. How could ABC7 let that mistake go out?
Destino trágico para os irmãos Kennedy... isto era ódio puro mas aconteceram outras tragédias com os descendentes deles. É uma pena tudo que aconteceu. Eu era criança e estou vendo tudo agora... é extremamente triste tudo isso...
@@finlaybiddlesden2426 if he was released he would go back to palestine and there would be a parade waiting for him maybe ticker tape cant let that happen
Know one could have known that he was going to go in the kitchen and he himself did not know that he was going to go in the kitchen at the time and he was pulled by his arm into the kitchen making him go into the kitchen that it was to late to get him out of the kitchen
This just blows me away...and not in a good way. With as many people that were in that small pantry area...dont you think someone would have seen him/her??
Another tragedy with husband gets killed in front of wife. Aftermath gets you thinking what if? What if Bobby didn't go through the kitchen route would he have lived...
Sad....RFK made a gross error in military supporting Israel against the Palestinians....RFK politics could have made a difference in a violent America...
Thane Eugene Cesar was the uniformed guard/assassin that held RFK's right elbow to guide him through the pantry. He had a backup pistol that was identical to the patsy's .22 pistol. Cesar fired several shots, particularly the two into the back right of RFK's head, only a couple of inches from RFK's head. Cesar was a professional assassin, selected by the CIA, to be plugged-in as a guard, to the RFK event since the cops were told to stay away. He waited until Sirhan begin his WILD "programmed" shooting, several feet in front of RFK, to begin the hit, being "covered" by Sirhan's firing.
It is well known that the CIA was manipulating Sirhan, even though the CIA was pushing out false info about Sirhan during the trial. You can find all that content and add it here if you really want to. Or, just let your misdirection stand about that connection. @@anibalcesarnishizk2205
@@apointofinterest8574 You would be too once you figured you were set up to be a patsy! The sliming of Oswald was so aggressive even the slimers believed their own concoctions! He did not fire the kill shots from the Knoll area. Case closed as far as I am concerned.
@@edwardanthony7283 There is zero evidence of any "patsy" setup. The sliming of the Warren Commission was so aggressive even the slimers believed their own concoctions! There is also zero evidence of shots from the knoll. Edward Anthony is clear disturbed, though not quite insane.
RFK would not have become president in 1968. He was far behind Hubert Humphrey in delegates for the Democratic Presidential Nomination. His hope was to go to the convention in Chicago that summer and try and lure some of Humphrey's delegates to support him and even that was a very long shot.
You should put some more facts here because I I'm of the opinion that Robert Kennedy would have been president. However, the knowledge I still have in the front of my brain about that whole race is not great.
@@deansongs why don't you read about it??? Humphrey had President Johnson's support and that of the Democratic movers and shakers. He avoided the primaries and still picked up the majority of the delegates he would have needed to win the nomination in Chicago on the first ballot. And when Kennedy won the California primary, Eugene McCarthy announced he was dropping out. McCarthy's delegates despised Kennedy and would have supported Humphrey and that essentially would have given him the nomination. Kennedy hoped to go to Chicago and try and convince many of Humphrey's "lukewarm" delegates to come over to him--but even that would have made very little difference. Kennedy was probably aiming for a much more aggressive run in 1972 anyway.
And you know this because YOU were there, huh? Sorry, I’ll believe the witnesses who actually saw what happened not some crackpot like you 54 years later.
RFK Jnr said his dad was shot by his bodyguard. He explained how the alleged killer couldnt have done it. If you want to have your mind blown, youtube Derren Brown's The Assassin.
