A quick overview of using our C9 pixels and 12mm pixels to do a quick RGB installation. This was a simple install and programming session and the end product looks great. The set up is programmed using xlights and falcon player runs the show.
The controllers and lights can be purchased here:

Is there any advantages over the Pixlite 16 controller verse the e682? If so, I'm new to this, so you will need to dumb it down for me lol

Not on a technical basis. They both will control a bunch of pixels. I don't know much about Sans Devices, but I do know that we have really good support, and so does Pixlite, so if you have any issues hopefully we can get you to a solution quickly.

Where did you get the chloroplasts from? Good idea.

I want to do a set up like this but I'm concerned about how that 3 conductor wire will hold up outdoors in the sun. I live in Arizona, do they have a 3 conductor outdoor rated cable for this?

These are outdoor rated. However, if you planned on leaving them up longer than the standard 40-50 days for Christmas, you are correct that the sun will fade them and deteriorate them quicker. Its hard to beat the sun with any Christmas light product, even those rated for outdoor use.

@@TheLedwarehouse Here in Phoenix AZ it only takes a couple weeks for the sun to bake anything. Unless its rated for UV protection. I'll have to give it a try.

how were you able to accomplish those long data and power runs from your controller? I thought 15 - 20 foot max runs were all that could be done before one would started experiencing data signal loss to their pixels/models with out using ghost/null pixels to relay the data signal ?

Kaech776 the RGB tree has the controller right at the base of the tree. So that's only going 3 feet from controller to first pixel. The snow flakes and candy canes worse case about 20ft away, maybe the end set was 25ft. Those bushes were only about 12-15 feet from the controller. The taller roof was probably 20ft from the controller. But the patch wire was 18awg wire. I haven't tested the farthest you can go with it yet. But, we went straight from the controller to the pixels, no extra pig tails, so there weren't any extra connections that could give us problems. If we had issues on the far set of models, then we would have had to either get power or signal closer.

TheLedwarehouse Thanks for your reply, I guess it just looked further away in the video than it really was.

Have you had or heard of issues using pigtail connectors? I was considering using them on all my connecting strings for ease of assembly/disassembly of my display.

Kaech776 I've heard people claiming longer runs, but I've never tried it before. There are some extended range controllers were you can use ethernet and such to get long runs, but you still need power at the receiver.
