UPDATE: The colour temp dial has broken/popped off. I think it happened because the carrying case is too damn tight! Looks like ill be able to fix it with a bit of strategic superglue because atm it basically acts like a key where if you put it in and turn you can still change the colour temp but there is nothing fastening it in place.

Oh no, that sucks. I guess they need to improve their build quality a notch or two with these tubes, aside from the CRI ratings then it will be a homerun.

Nice vid!! I think tube lights are always handy to have and at that price point why not add to your kit, keen to see how they compare to the PavoTubes!

Hows the reliability/ durability? I have seen other reviewer having problems with the battery indicator. Do u have that problem too? Still debating between these or pavotubes (which is considerably more $$$)

I dropped it a few times and it's caused no issues. The battery indicator works for me but it isn't very clear, though the tube does last for quite a while so I just charge it before a shoot. The pavotubes are definitely nicer but not sure if nice enough to warrant the price yeah, though like I mention in the video if you're after 2 tubes then the Pavo 2 pack actually makes it the same as 2 DF tubes
