Seeing the GM II pilots get some good hits in and hold their own in what looks like training is a treat to see. I remember them just blowing up in Zeta.
There is a cutscene in UC engage that shows the GMs dodge, block, actually take cover and land a few hits... definitely.better than how Zeta showed them As much as i dont like the game and some of its storyline (Moon Gundam is, so far... terrible)... i can respect the animation updates, new scenes and some connecting / in between stories ... if only UC engage was a better game... 😢
Huh. Almost thought those mobile suits where dropping down from the bottom of a Salamis Kai, but noticed that the ship was upside down for some reason. Though still wonder why they were locked to the deck area of the salamis kai instead of launching from the catapult.
There is no up or down in space, they didn't use the catapult because it's just a training exercise and if something went wrong they wanted to be close for recovery
Yeah I am aware of that, but I am also used to GMs and such being shoved onto a ship willy nilly therefore for a moment thought it was a regular old Salamis before noticed the "carrier" deck and went Sally Kai ah. I should been a bit clearer in the original post. sorry about that.
@robertdrexel2043 oh I'm right there with you on thinking it was the bottom of old slam till I saw the bridge, I think the orginal test footage had rhe old one and somewhere down the line they wanted a Kia and didn't bother flipping it
From what I understand is that RGM-79R GM IIs are upgraded one year war GMs and RMS-179 GM IIs are built from scratch. While we can't really tell the difference physically, I'd imagine some GM IIs would have "RGM-79R" or "RMS-179" engraved on their bodies somewhere.
