@jeffkane4391 bummer! Last year, there were almost none where I live. I am happy to see some of both this year. Not as many as I wish, but some is better none. I haven't looked up any data about how bats fared with white nose this past Winter. Had you heard?

Just hoping it's a fruitful one. I really want the Rhadinocentrus to thrive in it.

Time will tell, but that is how the breeder I got them from does it. He's also 4 hours south with a little nicer weather 😆

The misquotes 100% They aren't hatching from this system, but I'm close to a lake and acres and acres of swamp.

Putting the barrels in the ground does help stabilize the temperatures quite a bit. We still get into the 50s at night and occasionally flirt with the 90s.

I haven't been able to find any mosquito larva in any of out door setups that have fish, I had to set up a bucket for easy harvesting

Do fish survive in the wild lakes, rivers, ponds, ditches? Scuds are food for fish. 😉😊

We are surrounded by swamps and bogs here. We definitely produce a healthy mosquito population with all the standing water we have. Fortunately, my old neighbor moved, he used to spray his full property...
