I have 3 extra row of wisdom teeth, Im 26, still growing, 6ft4, my blood is O-, Rh-, My eyes are dark blue and grey, I have sunlight sensitivity , Low latent inhibition, Hypersensitivity, Adrenaline issues, Anger Issues, Generalized Anxiety, Hyperactivity......... I have been rejected my whole life.
@@HoloScope what? I'm pretty sure a few boys were kind jealous 2 such as me I was like "oh damn I wish I had golden blood" But seriously you sound like a loser
Chemically speaking Gold does not react with much, so no, I can't imagine it being used for any biological processes. Somewhere out there in the universe could be a creature with Aqua Regia for blood, who knows?
I see it in every video like this but I really do have Rh null and my 1 year old son was born with Rh null and this video is wrong about the number of people who have it that number is only for documented donors I've had to "donate" my own blood twice a year for the last 20 years in case I ever needed it my Great-grand Mother had it and was on the registry we are of Nordic/Scandinavian descent there are a few thousand people with Rh null but only a few in the national donor registry
Casey Carden I knew a guy from Sweden who I was on a tour to Greece with who had this blood and he told me he had to donate his own blood to his local hospital “just in case”. His name was Ake. Nice guy!
@@lisawanderess Other than my Great-grand mother I haven't met anyone in person who has it I've been contacted multiple times by people from a group or something that are apparently from the same haplo-group or whatever wanting to geno-type my blood but they kinda weirded me out with their persistence because no one ever knew about it until I had a bad accident three years ago requiring some serious surgeries and it's like they got my medical history or something they even offered to come to my house and knew where I lived somehow
If you’re unfamiliar with blood groups, the difference between Rhnull and Rhnegative, or why golden blood is so special, here’s an explanation! :) (should take 1.5-2.5 minutes to read - I promise, it’s simpler than it seems!) The ABO blood group system and RH blood group system are 2 separate blood group systems. They’re just 2 of *33* blood group SYSTEMS. What do I mean by a blood group system, you ask? Well, each blood group system categorizes whether or not a certain type of protein/sugar is attached to someone's red blood cells. *We call these proteins/sugars antigens* , and usually we name them by letters - you may recognize the A and B antigens from the ABO blood group system. In the ABO blood group system, you’re checked to see if you have A or B antigens; *no other antigens are considered in this system; only A or B.* If you have A antigens on your blood cells, and do not have any B antigens, this means that you have type A blood. -Having B antigens & no A antigens=a person with type B blood -both A&B antigens=a person with type AB blood. -Null for any A or B antigens=person with type O blood. (No, O blood type doesn’t have “o” antigens.) In the Rh, or Rhesus, blood group system, there are many antigens-*at least 45.* Some of these antigens are D, C, E, c, and e. *Normally, only the D antigen is checked for* - if you do not have the D antigen, (which says nothing about the other 44 antigens in the Rh blood system,) you’re considered to have a negative blood type. So, when someone says they’re Rh negative, it is extremely likely they mean they’re simply negative for the Rh*D* antigen, and have many of the other 44 antigens. This is because it is incredibly rare for someone to not have *any* of the 45 antigens in the vast Rh blood group system. Only ~8% of people are RhD negative, _and that is only one antigen._ Now, imagine being negative for *all 45.* That’s the Rh null blood type, the blood type people with golden blood have, and that’s why it’s so rare.
Ironically my mom is one of those 43 people. And when she had to have brain surgery for a golf ball-sized tumor, the blood they gave her was blood she had donated. She ironically ended up getting her own blood.
@Dan Rather indeed. I'm interested in science (mainly physics but, eh) and every now and then I come across articles that just make no sense. Like did you see that computer that can see the future? Or how scientists managed to *reverse time* It was just sensationalist (redundant word?) news outlets purposefully misinterpreting or warping facts to get clicks. I've found futurism (the news outlet) to be more or less reliable, but I stay away from their sponsored articles. However it is important to note that too much skepticism is also bad - you'd never learn anything.
@Dan Rather I can't tell if you're being sarcastic, sorry in advance if you are - just ignore me. The point is they didn't. It was warping of facts to the point where they really just weren't facts anymore to make clickbait titles. What actually happened is they managed to *very* temporarily make a tiny quantum system become less orderly over time rather than more orderly. Essentially reversing entropy, not time. Still a reasonably big deal, but nowhere near the mark for reversing time itself. I've probably got something here wrong, look it up if you're interested.
@Dan Rather So it is not Alpha nor Beta, it's not Alpha Beta and it's not Omega. It is definitely negative for antigens... it should be called N negative for Nothing (NEG) or N(NEG). Null and Void will work. *NV-*
I had a pregnant patient with this blood type. Luckily she knew what she was getting into so she stored many units of her own blood before labour/delivery in case of an emergency c/s or PPH.
This was why cell salvage machines were invented, for rare blood types they’re a lifesaver. Instead of wasting all that blood they’re sucking up, it filters it and re infuses it. Better still most transfusions are slight mismatches so you nearly always get a moderate reaction With your own blood you get a perfect match.
@MeZ CIRcle I am one and had to receive 3 pints at age 14 after car accident we had to run a show on radio and had people come in to donate it was quite horrific at that time and that was the 90s
Delighted to have come across this video. I don't recall any of my science classes ever mentioning Rhnull blood type. Neither did a visit to the blood bank for an excursion with a science class I don't recall any mention Rhnull blood type. The blood bank is in Australia and Rhnull blood type was discovered in Australia in 1961. I look forward to learning more in future about Rhnull blood type. Every day we can learn something that was not known or knowledge denied.
O negative can still be transfused to Rh null. Rh null with A antigen cannot be transfused to B, AB, O negatives. So, O negatives still owns em bitches
I am O- RH- I am blessed with a 6 month old, who is RH+ (so is her father) It was extremely hard for me to go through my pregnancy (I had to get three RH shots, beginning, middle, end WITH NO GUARANTEE she would make it) and the chance of my daughter being healthy and happy was “slim to none.” She is now the the healthiest baby I have ever seen.
Imagine not knowing your blood type your entire life, then need a blood transfusion and you had this blood type. You'd be the unluckiest person on the planet.
Why is it called the Golden Blood? I though it was suppose to be some universal blood type donor with extreme possetive properties compared to normal blood. But it looks more like a cursed blood type to me. Either way. Cool video
Golden blood is also anemic. So people with that type may suffer ill effects depending on the severity of the anemia. Their blood is also so rare that they join a registry and live in protected anonymity akin to the witness protection program.
Pyrotechnic 17 O - only makes up about 7% of the population. O + makes up around 37% but since you can only receive O - as an O -, that doesn’t really matter.
For those who are worried about rare blood type transfusions. Doctors will usually get as much blood from a patient before a surgery so she uses her own blood for transfusion
I remember reading a comment from a guy who has a rare blood type and he said his mom wouldn't let him have clinical trials where the procedure requires to draw blood from him. He said the doctors/nurses or whoever was in charge would always find a way to draw extra blood so they can study it.
Imagine going to a doctor to see if your blood is okay. "Yeah.. we're just gonna.. suck some blood in to this tube.. and uh.. we'll check it" *sees someone selling blood on amazon*
Imagine just watching this thinking you have a normal blood type then go to find out you have the most rare blood type out there. I'd be shook. *Still don't know my own blood type*
Margo Lockweeze- the Rogam injection does not come from Rh null blood. It is a medicine made from purified human plasma containing anti-Rh ( anti D antigen) to prevent Rh immunization, a condition in which Rh negative blood develops antibodies after exposure to Rh positive blood.
I'm Rh O negative/ null . We don't get sick very often or not susceptible to man-made diseases and if our mother is RH positive her body tries to kill the unborn child. We have very sensitive hearing and vision. Also can go long periods without sleep. Most of the Cherokee people are Rh null. I've also traced the blood line back to the Nephilim giants. You know the children produced from the fallen angles that came unto the daughters of men .
Today is Dec. 6, 2019 and next month would already be a new year which is 2020. I was born on 2002 living the 17 years of my life nit kniwing my blood type which is sad tbh. Merry Christmas btw 💖💖
For yall those confused with Rhnull and rh negative, there are 50 OTHER RH FACTORS. C, c, D, E, e, capitalization matters. Rh negative just lacks the D, but usually has atleast 1 of the others. While RHnull has absolutely none, not just D, everything.
@@Covid19_Lover it is a condition in which there is a missing gene due to which antigenes can not attach to redblood cells so they float in plasma so these individuals appear with O blood group but in reality they might have some antigens in their plasma so if there blood is transfused to someone it can be lethal
I have a one of a kind blood type called AB-XO. It allows me to turn into a dinasoar whenever I want. I’ve decided to become a superhero because of this blood type so I go around saving absolutely nobody. I’m also into eating wood
This somehow makes me feel better... knowing that I’m more likely to get O neg donor blood if I were ever in need of it before one of those aliens get their required blood type, is oddly comforting... 😌
I know 2 people mother and son with RH Null blood it’s scary as if they get in an accident or anything they can’t get a blood transfusion like the rest of us. It was mentioned during an exam to the son that he can’t get anyone else with the same RH null blood pregnant or it’d be very bad and lives would be lost basically. Doctors are always wanting to study their blood more because of how rare it is and always want vials from them.
Bombay blood group or Hh is also the rarest blood group in the world that is found only in 0.0004 percent of the population. It found in Bombay (Mumbai) in India, hence called Bombay blood group. It was discovered by Dr.Y.M. Bhemde. Only some people know about it
Jamie Ingels my son had 37 plasma infusions in just a little over 24 hours .. it was 😱 but he’s here to talk about it. I got all the rubber bands they took off the bags before administration to him. I framed them for him.
Wolfe 115 O+ is the most common (~37%). O- only makes up ~7% of the population. Your blood type is the second most common (~36%). Edit: Also, O type being the most common blood type doesn’t change the fact that O- is still considered a universal donor.
As a regular AB+ blood donor I have experienced how hard it is to find other willing donors and the desperation the patient's relatives experience to find one. I feel bad for people with even rarer blood types who have to go through even worse situations to find one. Pray they all have a healthy and safe life.
Guys I saw a scene on breaking bad were that one old man needed blood tranfusion and guess what it was RH- ! I took screenshot from that scene. I can't understand why hollyweird is messing with our minds.
Honestly, get with the times, Vampires these days just raid Blood Banks, they’re too concerned they might catch something if they get it straight from the source.
14 Year old girls after hearing that RHnull blood is completely unique and rare: "I have RHnull blood! I'm special!" 14 Year old girls after hearing that it's lifethreatening and hella dangerous: *"Woops, did I say something?"*
You can just see some cheesey vampire novel where someone cracks open a vial full of this stuff after a special occasion like it was a bottle of rare aged alcohol
rhnull blood! renews it self in instantanesly in the lucky persons body ! they also heal themselves too! are long livers, and almost impossible to kill! by medical intervention !they are universal donors! god made them saviors of the human race! how lucky are they ! they get abducted all the time! god is great! god is love .! it all in the blood! thats why its so precious ! to god the almighty creator! amen.
Darren Lai, Bullshit. You can make more via de novo synthesis, ya dodoe. A biological, consecutive manufacturer of life essence which can be stored externally once internal data, er, I mean storage has been reached versus actually braking down the building blocks of matter, atoms, and recombobulating them into a valuable bartering tool cause it's shiny.. Which is more rare as per it's founding properties? Hmm. .
@@goldenbutterfly642 I don't think being able to donate to any type is all that good. Especially when there is already O+ and O- or when the person could just get blood from there own blood type. If a person with this "golden blood"(calling it golden makes it seem great when it isn't) is fucked if they need blood.
@@selestedoesntevencare2169 they make their own! dont need monkey blood! how cool are they? we all where at the back of the que , when blood was given out!.
