I'm a Medium. They run sort of like a "relaxed athletic" polo. The medium is tighter than I would like on my arms and relaxed, but not too boxy, in the torso/waist. I've noticed their sizing hasn't been consistent over the years but may be better now. The first polo I bought was a bit more long and loose, whereas another one was more athletic fitting -- not dramatically different but enough to tell and where I like the fit of the latter more than the former. If I were you I would get both the L and XL. Keep the one that fits best or return both if they suck. Shipping is free for $150+ orders so you may want to get another style or another XL to see if there's a small inconsistency that provides a better fit. The return will be free whether you return one or all, so it's a nice little hack as long as you don't mind the balance sitting on your credit card for a bit.
@@digdogdigdogdig 6’ 0” 195#. I would try getting both sizes and return the one that doesn't fit as well. There is always variation and all my rhoback polos seem to fit a little bit differently. The most variability IMO is the length of the polo which obvi affects the look when worn untucked.
I feel you. I'm a "Marge" so choosing between a medium and large is tough. I ended up with the medium as the large was a bit "flowy" around the waist, and long in the arms. Thanks for the comment, dude!
@@TouchT3ch lol, I haven't purchased another polo in about a year. The last shirt I bought was their t-shirts which are the bomb.com (is that still a saying?). I'm a medium in the t-shirt. My rec is to buy both the M & L, then send back the one you don't want. It's free returns so just do it that way. Thanks for the comment, dude!
