Today we're taking you on an evening walk through the church grounds where Lars works and looking at the Rhododendron in bloom. From yellows and whites, to purples, pinks, and reds, there are so many to enjoy --- and we hope you find them just as beautiful as we do.
Here are a few of the varities we'll see on our tour:

We agree! We’re lucky to have so many in the garden where Lars works - so we can enjoy all the different colors. (And our 2 little ones at home 🥰)

So beautiful. I grew up in Cornwall and there were lots of Rhododendrons and Azaleas. They love the acidic conditions. I think if I worked where you do Lars that I'd not get any work done as I'd be looking at all the lovely blooms! The two Rhododendrons in your own garden are stunning too. Hope you, Allen and Mahlatsi are having a great weekend.

Thank you for those good wishes, Wendy 🥰 Lars is truly blessed to work around such lovely plants all day. AND, they’ve created a lot of new flower beds there this season… we must show you soon! Even several with only perennials that are native to Denmark. A big hello from we 3 to you!

Just stunning. Love the vibrancy of colors. It's amazing what a hard prune can do for some of our plants. When they take well to that, it can really make a huge difference with overall plant health and can yield huge results. You have proof of that. Amazing guys! 🌸🌸🌸

How do you keep your white pebble walk way so white and clean? No leaves, no branches, no dirt, how? Please teach me!

Ahhhh thank you 😅. We have 4 cm of stone powder (crushed stone) and then 4 cm of gravel on top of that. We use a weed burner to keep weeds down - we just burn them when we see them. As for sticks and things, we pick them up if there are any. We’re lucky to not have many big trees hanging over our garden. Sorry I’m not any more help 😅

They are beautiful. Yes, I’m a landscape gardener at a cemetery park here in Fredericia. The ones in the video are just some of the ones we have blooming here on the grounds. At our house, we only have the 2 at the start of the video.

Only the earliest varieties are in bloom now. Our spring comes a bit late, so June 1 is around the time that the majority of rhododendrons are showing off.

@@ptwnbratche At Allen's parents' place in south Georgia, they were already finished flowering when we visited at Easter. Glad ours are here now. And exciting that you still have yours to look forward to!

I just found your channel. OMG. I have been watching gardening tours, etc. for years and I am just blown away by your artistry! Your combinations are absolutely superb and make my heart sing out of my chest. I am just in awe. Please please make more how to videos about different watering needs and how you manage everything:). Wow, thank you! That means a lot to us! Really :) You're not the first person to ask about how we water everything -- so we'll have to do that. But... spoiler alert ;) we live here in Denmark where it rains ALL THE TIME... so we are blessed to not have to water so much by hand.
