I visited the Rhyl Miniature Railway on the 4th May 2013 while on the way to the Ffestiniog Railway 150th Celebrations. I really enjoyed my time at Rhyl Miniature Railway as the volunteers were very friendly and welcoming.
Quality of video is very good, driving was excellent, whistling at correct locations , some time sounds of whishle was low with slight vibration, track is nicely maintained. Engine was perfectly shed out no cause of complain was noticed during running on track.Driver is well experienced , with smooth operation of train ,no jurk or sudden bracking observed.Over all nice veiw.
Best holiday we had was in Rhyl in the 1960s. The ride on this railway and a fabulous large OO guage model railway were highlights as was the priate radio stations and the couple who moved into the pigeon shed to rent out their house to holidaymakers!
In 1952 my dad gave me a toy wind-up train just like that red jobbie for a Christmas present. I liked it but dad played with it more than I ever did! I'll never forget the Hornby Train.
