Was born and bred in Rhyl in the 70-80s. Parents had a Flatlet and also a Guest House near the suncentre. The late 80s saw the beginning of the decline in the old flatlet houses being turned in to multiple occupancy houses by greedy landlords. I moved 6 miles up the road and spent 25 years in Abergele. Used to go down to Rhyl Clubbing and i actually lived there in my later life for 1 year....such a crying shame what it has turned in to it really is....even though i'm now living in England, I have such fond memories of the place and what is was when i was growing up.
Always been a dump but there we are. Before people call me a troll, I live in Rhyl lived there for 20 years (am 26 but finally been told that we're moving) and I hated it as a kid. Even when I used to come to Rhyl for day trips and I didn't live in Rhyl (used to live in Meliden) I hated Rhyl.
@@pengzichen6685 It is just a horrible place to be. You get more success being a criminal ironically. As for moving. I got rejected because I am disabled
@@thomasgeorge-gilmore950 Thank you for telling me that! Would you mind to have a chat with me on WhatsApp. I am a student from Goldsmiths, be conducting research around this Rhyl. I am very curious why it sounds like a criminal paradise as you described.
