I used to come to Rhyl with my Mum and Dad during the wakes week holidays in the 1940s and 50s. I came across your brilliant presentation whilst looking for info on who the Punch and Judy man was at that time, and did he really have a real dog which sat on the play board during the performances (as I remembered it)? I also used to visit the Amphitheatre to watch the shows and remember well the resident group of Pierrot clowns. I also have autographs of the Morton Fraser Harmonica Gang which I think I collected there. Lots of memories stimulated by your wonderful you tube video. Thanks.

Thank you for your encouraging comment. My video technique has improved slightly since then. Among those of us who take an active interest in Rhyl history, Bill Ellis is unique in that he is the only one who was born in the town and has never lived anywhere else.
