I had the pleasure of Stealth'ing the songs in Legend Road with him when he visited my local Round 1, and he never forgot a single pattern throughout the whole session. I thought I was really good at memorizing songs until he came along; he's really just in a different galaxy with memorization
You've Stealthed stuff like Elemental Creation CSP, Blew My Mind CSP, Over the Period CSP... no way I'm ever matching those. Even if I could memorize them I could never execute them at full speed. And I'm still holding out hope that once things are normal again you'll pull off a Stealth MFC on something much higher than a 10... you got an SDP on Xenon in Extreme, that's insane
The sad thing is a lot of average people will perceive him as a sad nerd playing video games but he actually has farrrrrr beyond excellent stamina and conditioning, a wide range of musical knowledge and talent, great physical coordination and must be at least in a few areas above the norm in terms of intellect and mental fortitude. What a lad
I'm used to seeing inhuman things when it comes to rhythm games, but this dude takes it on a whole other level. Good watch, man needs a lot more recognition.
Hey Etienne, big props to you. You are a really underrated youtuber, you put a lot of effort in these kinds of videos, I hope you grow big one day! Keep on grinding :D
Before watching this I knew Piguy from his DDR Extreme US Mission Playthrough and his Stealth PFC of MAX(period). from years ago, but after watching this I've learned a lot about the guy with the fact that he's probably the type of player I want to be: Someone who is good at their main game and having fun at it too.
As someone who isn't much of a "rhythm gamer" and who's only ever played DDR Extreme casually when I was a kid... This is absolutely absurd in the most badass way possible. Piguy is a legend among legends.
Great video! Thanks for shining the spotlight on relatively unknown player like this. I'd never heard of piguy and the stuff he pulls off is absolutely crazy and he deserves all the recognition in the world. On an unrelated note, I love that you used the clip of Davesterio getting Lucky 7'd, one of my favourite speedrunning moments ever lol
thanks for making great rhythm game content as always. i absolutely love your videos and you are doing the rhythm game community a big service by making content like this.
This guy's videos have popped up on my sub feed for a couple years now.. I think I found him on some Facebook group. As I'm not a DDR player, I had no knowledge of what was happening (beyond good scores with a bit of wackiness) until now. Ty for making this
i remember he posted a video of him playing over the period (one of my fave ddr boss songs) on his ocarina in the ddr facebook group and i was just amazed and became an instant fan of this dude and see him still uploading stealth videos in my subbox every lil while to this day haha
A cool suggestion for a rhythm game anomalies video would be LU DRUM'N BASS, this guy has hundreds of videos doing border bonus+perfects in beatmania games (mostly Beatmania THE FINAL) seriously this guy is insane, and he even did some crazy stuff with Stealth activated
I can't memories shit with my ADHD, this level of memorisation is inhuman to me. I've been subscribed to piguy314159 ever since they started uploading DDR stealth, a very underappreciated player.
Great video my dude! I appreciate the effort that you put in these Rhythm Game Anomalies videos, for real,. It's probably one of my favourite things to watch on RU-vid.
16:18 is so fucking unbelievable that my jaw legitimately hung open for 5 full minutes after that. I'm not even DONE the video yet and I can't think of anything cooler than that.
Meanwhile I've been playing rhythm games for like 16 years and still suck. But seriously, thank you for shining a spotlight on these absurd accomplishments.
fun fact: on the Bag FC, piguy wasn’t reading at 0.25x, that’s what Chris was reading. Piguy actually had brake on, which slows down the chart even more
