We only have one lead so far. But that clue leads us to a target here in Paris. That's right... We're looting the Louvre! Are you ready? (No practice.)

About this video remix:
This is a video version of an audio remix I made some time ago. You can find that version (and read more info about the remix itself) here:
• Rhythm Heaven Custom R...
The remix itself isn't too different, but I brought in Blue Birds and Kitties! to the climax section at 0:59. This was to fill out the remix a little better.
As for the video itself, while the games were somewhat straightforward to edit, this was definitely a challenge in figuring out more ways to utilize both chroma keying and masking. Especially masking.
With chroma-keying, I was able to add in a custom Eiffel tower sprite I drew that I had laid against a blue background. (Hopefully the style doesn't feel too out of place...) I used chroma-key to have it appear as a background object for Fork Lifter. For now, that's the extent of my custom imagery, but I hope to learn more techniques in the future.
For masking, I did a lot of masking on snappy trio, basically making all three characters their own mask. This was so I could get the exact timing and feel that I wanted with my custom rhythms. I also did plenty of masking/editing on Fork Lifter to get its custom rhythms.
But the Kitties!/Fork Lifter combo at 0:52 is what took the most effort for met. Through lots of trial and error, I was eventually able to use both chroma-keying and masking to...
1. Have the Eiffel tower as mentioned before.
2. Hide the pea-flicking hand by covering it with the right side of the video using a mask of mirrored Fork Lifter footage.
3. Overlay chroma-keyed Kitties! on top of Fork Lifter
4. Edit Fork Lifter to get the custom rhythms.
5. Finally, overlay Fork Lifter (the hand you control) back on top of Kitties! by creating a mask of the arm frame by frame as it came back into view.
It was that last part that gave me the most trouble. The first time I did it, I thought I masked it all correctly, but it wasn't working as the kitty on the right side was appearing in front of the hand for a single frame. In the end, I don't even know what fixed it, but I pushed through and just adjusted things until it worked.
