Rhythm Heaven on Android Snapdragon 821 (Dolphin Emu) 

1213 1213 There's always going to be latency with emulation. The controller has about 30 milliseconds (1000 in a second), and the emulation itself though very good; still adds about 70ms. So in this particular game the time between button press and action is 0.1 seconds, give or take. The actual console would be something line 0.01. To give you a real-world comparison, the games featured in this video on the real console I usually don't miss on. So less than a tenth of a second is pretty damn playable. That amount of time is no big deal with several games but with rhythm and fighting it's noticeable. The controller I use is good for several hours, I never measured time but I'm thinking it's good for 8-10 hours on a charge. There's also a USB port to plug your phone into so you can share your gamepads battery with your phone. But the Gamepad is old and charges 5v at 1amp. OnePlus almost does acknowledge its on a charge. The also phone will conk out of battery long before the controller does. As for other games, I have tried Paper Mario Wii, just haven't made a video yet. I have your suggestion into consideration, but no promises.

1213 1213 Also if you don't already have one, I highly recommend everyone buy a Gamepad for their phone, particularly one that docks your phone. It's invaluable with emulation and works in some Android/mobile games as well.

I'm flattered, but I have no plans to make a video. Not saying I wouldn't, I just don't have any plans. To be honest, I'm waiting on a next-gen phone to do this whole emulator thing again. The GPU plays a big part in gaming emulation, so similar videos involving phones with Snapdragon 820-821 SoC's would have similar performance, and Snapdragon 835 would have even better performance. HOWEVER these videos were recorded in Januaryz, which was also the last time I played around with it, I wouldn't be surprised if the software itself has made some great strides involving speed, stability, compatibility, and accuracy. Maybe I'll pick up interest again when OnePlus 3T has the next Android version, but I'm more interested in upgrading to the next-gen line of phones when they release this spring.

Maybe it could, I haven't had an Exynos processor since Galaxy S6. This is just one of those cases where it might be best to try it yourself

Yacine Studios FR when I recorded these my phone was new/fresh install. So maybe the lack of extra storage and apps gave me better performance at the time. I haven't tried anything emulation related since January so I don't know why you'd be running at 10th the speed as mine if you have the same phone. Did you download from play store or the link in my description?

Sorry, wish I had an answer. Just to my utter surprise this game ran near-perfectly on my 3T, and ever since then like 95% of my comments have basically been "I can't get this game to run on my newer device"

I don't know if it can or can't, what I can tell you is that the Moto G7 power is not as powerful as the OnePlus 3T was.

Only if you have a time machine and I can go back to the time I had this phone and that specific build of that emulator. I listed in the description all I had changed. Dolphin at the time didnt have many options that boosted emulation so most settings were kept at default

Joshua Roilo the only settings changed was the GPU backend. It was the only setting you really had any control over at the time of recording. I can't explain why others can't get full speed on this one game other than when I ran it, my device was new from a fresh install

Don't know, never tried it, but the 730 has nearly 30% better CPU performance and 20% better GPU performance than the phone I used to run this game at the time
