Extremely aggressive maneuvering. This is a dogfight and not a airshow !! I've been to US air shows and I have never seen this kind of maneuvering!!!! EVER!!!
If always being amazed of how this plane rolls and turns and changes direction. Seems so much more agile than any other thing in the sky, f-22 included. It almost seems like it weighs half as a typhoon 😱👌🏻👌🏻
it weighs 1150 kg less than the Eurofighter ( 9850 kg vs 11000 kg ) which has almost the same size except for a few centimeters!! it was Dassault who chose to make the Rafale a featherweight, even the refueling pole was not motorized to avoid the weight of the mechanism to fit it into the cabin! anyway, the Eurofighter is much worse than the Rafale, in 2009, they met 18 times, 16 victories for the Rafale, and yet the Eurofighter is more powerful and faster!
The Rafale demo team never fails to impress and stun the crowds. Agile, powerful and so maneuverable it is king among the European fighter jets. Great job by l'Armee de L'Air.

The slow speed maneuverability and roll rate are impressive. The f-15 probably can't turn as tight as the Rafale but boy is it much faster. Nothing can accelerate like a good ol f-15 up to much 2.8

Not many and none would no the F22 was locked on till they went boom. Same with the F35A. The next closest would be between a typhoon,SU35 and Sunday 30
You do realize that the more Gs a fighter can pull the more maneuverable it is right? F-16, 15, 22, 35 can all do about 9.2g sustained, the F-16 itself can actually do 12Gs but the pilot would not be able to withstand that so it's programmed in with a limitation to protect the pilot. You said that Rafale is far from being as manuverable as the Flankers. Energy management in a fight is as valuable as missiles and fuel. This thing is a lot smaller than the Flanker like the F-16 is to the F-15, and yes the F-16 is more maneuverable than an F-15, and so too would the Rafale be against a Flanker. Bigger might be more powerful but in a real turning dog fight Flanker would get whipped by this thing probably 75% of the time, that's not good odds.
ImpendingJoker And that's where you're wrong. Just because an F-16 can sustain more Gs doesn't make it more maneuverable than e.g. a SU-35. That's pretty obvious. Just think about it for a minute and you'll realize what you're talking about. The odds you made up aren't good? Well that's a problem, isn't it.
ALL THAT BARREL ROLLING WONT HELP WITH A MISSILE TRACKING YOU, AND I WOULD LOVE TO SEE HIM DO ALL THAT WITH A FULL BOMB LOAD, PLUS HES AS STEALTHY AS A BARN DOOR. I WILL TAKE AN F-22 OR AN F-35 ANY DAY.

Still rather watch the Viper F16. Has more speed and just as agile. Only using one jet engine to accomplish just as impressive manuevering!! Viper is much sexier too!
