WOW!... how nice is that paint scheme with the red and gold on its wings. Also, I've always been a big fan of the Sukhoi and Su fighter jets but now I must admit this Rafale and French Pilots are a formidable adversary.
This is our best plane so far, i don't say it's the best, but it can be in good hands a real challenger to any modern fighter. Thx for the video i love this Tiger meeting paint.

I absolutely agree. Maximum power and grace in all of its flight performances. Truly a remarkable and unique machine since the dawn of the earlier Mirage family. Examples like the Mirage III, V and Mirage IING (New Generation) with forward canards- later Mirage 50, Atlas Cheetah, Israel's C7 Kfir and Lavi and the Mirage 2000. One of the prototype designs that were built and test flown specifically for the Rafale, was the Mirage 4000. This was also a very beautiful and remarkable machine in its own right. Much larger and heavier than the Rafale, but it helped greatly in the Rafale's initial research and development phase. By the way, Rafale loosely translates to: "Gust of Wind". I think that in Spanish it would be "Rafaga" or "Rafaga de Viento".

There is no 5gen, all lastest plane are not passiv stealth agaisnt good radar, only activ sleatlh (Electronic Warfare). Last Rafale F3R and futur Rafale (F4 in 2025) can also do that.

In dogfight it would definitely eat alive any F35, F/A18, F16, F15, EF 2000, Gripen, MIG-29, Su-27. The Su-35 might be the only tough opponent but it's much bigger hence less maneuverable... and not even talking about Rafale's great omnirole & sea carrier capabilities. It's by far be the best fighter choice for any european country... too bad that EU members prefer to bow down to US, at the cost of a real european army future.
T1 M4R it is a common misconception that a more maneuverable plane will win a dogfight all the time. I would say pilot skill, maneuverability and technology are the main 3 factors. A more skilled pilot with better technology can win over a more maneuverable plane as in the case of F15 vs mig29. Also we don't really know how much of a factor will maneuverability be when dogfighting against latest technologies like F35 which can shoot hight off bore sight Aim9X any direct with its DAS helmet.
Uhm T1 M4R. Su-27 and 33 also 35 has first no fix Air intakes and vector Thrusters are absolute superior in Maneuverabilitie over a Rafale. I tell you.. google about the weaknes of the fix Air intakes and lack of Vector Thrusters when it comes to dogfight maneuvers. But i say this russian guy 2 month before was right. Comming to modern Air warfare an F-22 and her Stealth capabilitie will kill a Rafal at a distance mostly before the French Wonderplane would even see them on a radar.. yet can lock on her.
@MrZevv Not saying the opposite, just telling you that the Rafale is the only true omnirole plane and that countries that can't afford 2 or 3 different type of planes should go for it, it's a no brainer... not even talking about the fact that it would fit non-aligned countries. Regarding F-35 combat abilities and stealth... no comment, you know the harsh reality already...

Saw this plane irl a few months ago. Great video, but videos never do these planes full justices. You need to be there, listen to the thunderstorm from the engines, feel the vibrations and smell the petrol.
le Rafale reste en 2023 le seul avion au monde a pouvoir prendre 11G positif en manoeuvre , les autres ne dépassent pas 9G positif ! que ça soit le F22 , le F35 ou tout autres avions dans le monde !!
Oui c'est dommage pour la Belgique qui a du subir une trop grosse pression de la part des Américains pour un avion qui ne sera pas opérationnel avant des années alors que les Français posséderont déjà leur nouveau rafale f4 (mise en service pour 2025) et ce dont nous sommes sûrs c'est que "lui" sera opérationnel d'entrée.
@@corinnebarbey23 la Suisse attend depuis un bon moment de renouveler sa flotte aérienne, ils ont essentiellement des avions d'entraînement et quelques f14 et gripen qui vont tous rendre l'âme dans 10 ans. Mais la question est : La Suisse a t'elle besoin d'acquérir des avions de haute performance ?? La réponse des Suisses est partagée sur le sujet. Ils ont à choisir entre le rafale le typhoon le f35, Saab s'étant retiré. Mais ces avions ne sont pas indispensables pour eux, ils effectuent principalement des missions de police aérienne et de reconnaissance. Selon eux, le m346 master par exemple serait plus approprié aux missions de l'armée Suisse avec un prix d'achat 4 fois inférieur ainsi qu'un coût d'exploitation divisé par 6.

they're part of the building of eurofighter typhoon...so they had to buy some...despite that it's known that the rafale is a far more better airplane...It's only politics...even US pilot who trained air combat with it recognized Rafale was better than most of they're planes, not it the same category of f22 but close...

billy bill LOL. Yeah right....F-22 will shoot that rafale down even before it know its there. rafale isn't stealthy either. Also, with all the armaments it needs to have attached ON THE OUTSIDE of the plane, it wont be so maneuverable.
Flash357 soon they're will be some scouting frontmen Dassault ''Neuron'' flying front and beside as wingmen, full of A.I and totally stealth, able to bear much many Gs, the Rafale/Neuron team will be almost invincible, the best of men and machines. Until that I doubt the world will be filled with hundreds of operational F22, as they still never fought real (often beaten during simulations...). For a lot of situations where danger comes from many sides including the ground Rafale is the best plane ever made. Then F22 is not absutely stealth, radars are evolving, (remember what was said about F117 for instance), countermeasures too. Spectra on Rafale is maybe more useful than stealthness. See its Optronic too. See also that its radar signature is very small. Also the 'fifth' gen need AWACs to be efficient on a battleground. Nowadays airfights are rarely like two lines of soldiers facing each other...
+Flash357 you're kidding yourself. You talk highly of a dud - that f22 - that is plagued by many issues. none of what I saw has impressed me thus far as far as the f22 is concerned. RAFALE is much more developed and battle proven. France is many times smaller than the US and still manages to delivering a homegrown highly capable fighter
Stealth? The major countries have improved the radar technology long ago, the "stealth" feature is just a way to take more money from the US taxpayers and it makes the planes flight like a brick....
Me too, although its not the only one to adopt the idea. Just look at the Mirage 50, Mirage 2000 and Mirage F1. They also have the "ugly" refueling probes attached. The thing about the Typhoon, is that it somehow has always looked bigger and bulkier to me. The Rafale is way more streamlined, nimble and lightweight. Hence, its super maneuverability!

Pour avoir vu volé des SU-37, des Mirages 2000, des MIG29, des FA18, des F16, des F15, des Harriers, des Typhoons, des Tornados, des F14, je suis désolé mais il n'y a jamais rien qui m'a pris aux tripes comme un Rafale poussé dans ses limites par un bon pilote peut le faire à chaque fois , il n'y a qu'un jour au Bourget où j'ai vu un F18 piloté par un belge me procuré le même niveau d'admiration. J'aimerais rappeler cette citation de Marcel Dassault "Un bel avion est un avion qui vole bien", elle prend tout son sens là..

le F16 fut une belle réalisation, ils avaient mérité leurs marchés contre le Mirage F1, mais la, avec le F35 c'est vraiment un choix purement politique. En fait le concepteur du F16 lui-meme avait dit que le F35 était un veau...

Le pilote est au-dessus du top-niveau aussi ... tout est fluide, les grandes courbes en léger dérapage, les tonneaux en douceur mais tout en précision. N'oublions pas qu'il ne s'agit pas d'une maquette de jeu vidéo, mais d'un vrai avion, volant dans des turbulences et à priori construit pour voler tout droit, et moins sur le coté par exemple ou les ailes servent beaucoup moins. A genoux devant ce pilote, j'ai jamais vu une aussi belle démonstration en vol. Allez, pareil avec un A380 vite fait sur le zinc =
Une merveille de technologie. Il est capable de tout faire......C' est un couteau Suisse. Et dans les commentaires ça parle... ça parle F22. Mais non pas du tout le F22 c'est pour faire joli mais ce n'est pas un avion de combat. Un démonstrateur technologique tout au plus. Il ne faut pas le sortir pour ne pas abîmer le revêtement furtif. Posez le F22 sûr un des porte avions US et il faudra le redescendre avec un palan et une élingue. Restons sérieux. Le Rafale est une grande réussite comme pouvait l' être le F14 Tomcat en son temps.
Und wieder mal ein tolles Solo Display der Französischen Rafale der Armee del Air! Der Aufnahmeort unschwer zu erkennen ist der Militärflugplatz Payerne in der Schweiz. AIR 14 und die Vorführmaschine nahm im Frühsommer 2014 auch am Tigermeeting in Schleswig - Jagel teil, Für mich ist die Rafale eine Art Eurofighter in schön mit einer sehr Präzisen Vorführung Mal Tief mal hoch mal schnell und sehr laut und fast nur mit Nachbrenner. Ich wünsche dir noch einen schönen Sonntag!

With its canard it looks very sharp and sleek. But most fighter jets are capable of such maneuvers in air. The important thing is how does it escape an incoming missile, say Aim 120 Amraam missile.
WoW, ....VERY cool air crafts! I wish he was flying it at dusk or at evening so I cand see the shock diamonds fromed the after burners! I bet it he was very sore after he did do that show. I hope he had a room withed a hot tub for that night.
