You need to prep your fabric!.. cut the ends off where white stripes are.. then put the fabric in a bucket of water.. it helps the fabric relax, removes the chemicals and shrinks it.. then hang it to dry.. when dry then iron it.. and add the ribbons.. it makes your work a better quality.. your gonna wash the dress eventually. Hope this helps! Prepping fabric is very important! Blessings!

I tried using the 505 to hold the ribbon, but the ribbon comes loose before I can get it sewn. Any suggestions?
