Which steak cut is most popular, prime rib or filet mignon? I don't very often have ribeye. I tend to eat the filet but this meat he has cooked up looks great too so maybe I should try it again.
might be an unpopular opinion but I believe that smoking a ribeye is an absolute waste because you are masking (tainting) the glorious essence of the beef and beef flavor with smoke. I love smoked meats, just not smoked ribeye.
