This behaviour might diviate attention from the true problem, the team to his inmaturity. He was fighting for points in 10th place, but due to the strategy, he dropped positions with each pit stop, ultimately finishing 13th. In fact, he was never overtaken except for team orders. Furthermore, the team has been repeating the same mistakes every race. The real issue lies with team itself. What a shame.

He lost 2 rounds due to Yuki's childish behavior. For red tires, that's a big difference in performance... Yuki was all wrong, and everyone who knows how F1 cars work and understands the sport knows that. The others are merely fanboys for Yuki or haters of Ricciardo.

@@simplehiroThe who seems to not understand, it's you. Even Riccardo said in the post race, no matter the tyres, they did not have the pace. Yuki gave him the position within 4 corners, it did not take 2 laps, and left Riccardo with 5 laps to overtake. Not only he did not overtake, they did not swap back. But passing your team mate is not the same as passing a competitor...is it? Stakes are higher when it's your team mate, contact could be deviststing for the team of they collide. It's a risk worth taking when it's another teams driver.
@gregrtodd
@gregrtodd 4 месяца назад
His tyres weren't fresh. They were only one lap younger than Yuki's, but with a closing window on how long before deg set in. Yuki's delay probably screwed any chance DR had of passing KMag. Even if he had it would have only been for 12th. It would have taken the pass AND a collision between two of the place-getters to get a single point for the RB team. But by fart-arsing around Yuki screwed the team of even that very remote possibility.

@mauryeetss3561
@mauryeetss3561 4 месяца назад
“It’s so fucked up!” Why? Because the team made a prudent decision to make yuki give up a position outside of the points because he clearly was making no progress on the haas himself. Stop defending that child. If you are the team in that position and you see your driver cannot pass and will therefore finish outside of the points, of course you would switch up the strategy and at least try to see if the other driver could get past. Yes perhaps they should’ve gave the position back at the end, but that really didn’t matter at all whatsoever because he was still out of the points. yuki threw a damn temper tantrum. In the interview after, he was lost for words and it was eminently clear that his emotions had overtaken him. its childish, immature and unprofessional. If they were both in the points and danny had scored extra or if danny had made it into the points and not yuki, then that reaction would be justified. But that was not the case. Acting in such a manner over something that had no effect on you in the end is just plain idiotic. He should’ve played it cool, and if he was unhappy perhaps say something to the effect of, "I wish I had the chance to continue to fight until the end.” And also, he’s directing his anger at the wrong person in Danny Ric. Any driver in Danny’s position, stuck behind a teammate who can’t get past the cars in front of them, would also get on the radio and ask the team if they can organize a switch and give them the chance to try. Yuki certainly would have done the same.

why? he was the faster driver at the end of the race and was still within .5 of a second of magnussen on the last lap, he had a better chance at overtaking magnussen than yuki would, especially if you tried to swap them back in the end. maybe if it was for points? And you would only let them back past if your teammate was playing a team game and sacrificed on the condition that they would get the place back, thats what we saw with lewis and bottas all the time, but yuki essentially ruined daniels opportunity to pass because he had a tantrum, hardly warrants giving the positions back lol

Yuki just needs to understand if he can't pass on his hard tyre's they let the one behind it on soft tyre's pass unless the softs are slower to see if that changes something. I mean regardless who is in front at that moment Yuki would have been allowed to pass on softs behind Ricciardo in the same situation. He takes it why to personal for a position that isn't in the points. Then again good chance Ric or Yuki will have to leave if they can't beat the other this season. In that light even non scoring positions become a thing, although less important. In his mind he lost this race to Ric by team orders it seems.

DR was on better and fresher tyres. He didn't ask for the pass -the RB team made the call. Yuki should have immediately let DR through. Those softs had a limited window before deg set in and DR was right on the edge of that. Had Yuki done what was requested, there was at least some small chance that DR could have passed KMag. If he didn't get the job done, the team would have asked DR to give the spot back.. But Yuki dicked around, and screwed the teams orders. So the team screwed him right back. There are plenty of examples in the past where DR's race was compromised by team orders, and he wasn't happy about it but his response was always something like "Yep. Okay." Yuki had no cause for complaint, and the stupid dive and sideswipe on the cool-down could so easily have damaged both cars a week out from Jedda. A dick move over 13th/14th.

@@visualdRubbish Lawson should be driving at RBR now. He is much faster than both and proved it last year. RBR are f/ d in the brains for wasting time on that journeyman Ricciardo

@@visuald You do know he’s a rookie and he raced his first race in the worst wet conditions in Portamao and “couldn’t have done a better job” I think the team said. At his next few races he was level with Yuki or very close & Yuki has 3 years experience. This should tell you how good he is - but unfortunately if you are Dense & have no idea about F1 you will say what you said! Edit- I will also if you followed his Rookie testing he was the fastest of all the Rookies and the day he drove RB18?- he was actually faster than sone drivers on the grid including Checko..- SO HE IS FAST!

Tsunoda is a clown. He can be fast at times but is a complete loose cannon. He is only there to keep Honda happy. No Honda no Tsunoda. He will never go to the main Redbull team.

sorry for all the fans of the japanese cry babie but its obvious that is not gonna get better then this, at this point just get a new rookie with potential from the academy and let the kid go to another team and maybe he might grow with a different culture.

Yuki has not earned respect on track and from his team. He is there because of Honda.

Yuki is too immature and not in the same level as Ricco. Unfortunately, Yuki is a honda politically inserted driver who is a brat and only provides sponsorship funding. Imo, will never be able to make the cut in Redbull.

Well thats garbage because Yuki was faster than Ricciardo last year and he was faster than him at Bahrain.. So get your head out your arse and smell the roses. Sick of people defending this worthless big mouthed weasel Ricciardo.
