I’d been a Dietitian for 20 years, and had been quietly confident that I would never hear THAT diagnosis. So to hear those words - “you’ve got cancer” was a total shock.
It forced me to stop and re-evaluate everything in my life… not just my diet but my entire lifestyle, to figure out what had contributed to THAT diagnosis and what I needed to change in order to prevent it ever coming back.
