Every throw and run Rich Gannon made during his 6th and greatest playoff game with the Raiders, finally taking them back to the Super Bowl. AFC Championship Round of 2002 season.
I was at this game, it was so crazy!! Me and my oldest son, he was 7 at the time (28 now), 2 tickets AFC Championship $300 total. Oh, and Metallica played a concert in the parking lot before the game!!
I was in the building for this game. One of the funnest days of my life. Went to the coliseum with no ticket. Walked onto the field pre game with buddy who worked for CBS. No ticket needed in free.
You mean Gannon helped gruden take his game to another level.cuz let’s face it aside from taking tony Dundee’s team what has gruden been able to do after that Super Bowl win
@@EASTBAY_NORCAL gotta disagree, Gruden made Donald Hollis look like a productive NFL QB, he also steadily improved the Raiders each season. Dungy?? Gimme a break, he went where Peyton was, anyone would have won there
Wow, I rooted for the Raiders and the kings as a kid. And they had amazing season in these early 2000s, sad to see they are both winless teams now. Also Pretty trippy seeing the Titans QB He died a crazy death
Was at this game and snuck in about 20 of our friends man I'll tell you this atmosphere was Electric there was nowhere to sit all Standing Room Oakland Raiders fans Oakland fans are the best sad to see them leave but will always represent this team the year for this in a year before that awesome crazy playoff seasons The Glory Days of Oakland East Oakland Raiders fan
Ahh the good ol days. Bro thanks for saying this. I’ve been complaining about it ever since the move. Born n raised in Oakland, when they moved back from LA had season tix for 24 years. I’m still hurting from this Vegas crap. It’s not the same team… not the same organization. I’ll always be a fan but yep, I’m bummed.
It has been 21 years since the Raiders won over the Titans at home in the playoffs in 2002 and they were perfect at home against the Tennessee Titans and I never forgot about this game because I'm a die hard raiders fan for a long time
Crazy to see how different offensive formations were compared to now. Everything was done with the QB under Center, and a lot of movement pre-snap as well. I wonder if a team could implement that in today’s NFL. USC from 02-08 would never been in shotgun either.
Easily one of the best days at the Coliseum ever. METALLICA free pop up concert while Tailgating in the North End Zone Parking Lot. Great game, great day. Didn’t get better than that. Will never get better than that in Vegas. I’ll always be an Oakland Raider fan. Just a casual fan now. Was a die hard.
The last great Raiders team... had Al Davis not been so preoccupied with his dick measuring contest with Jon Gruden, the next game would've been a win too. :/
LAS VEGAS DO YOU SEE HOW LOUD WE WERE IN OAKLAND IN THE COLISEUM THATS WHAT HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE DOES WE GET LOUD WHEN OTHER QB IS UNDER CENTER WE WERE LOUD IF YOU KNOW YOU KNOW REAL BLUE COLLAR FOOTBALL FANS THAT GAME WAS FUCKING BADASS
@@Mario_N64 wasn’t a bust … KC and Minnesota didn’t know what they possessed he had success but wasn’t consistent enough due to the fact they didn’t believe in him … go back and watch some of those games …
1. I miss those times. That team was so dominant. 2. Jerry Porter - had a wr ever been exposed to be his real ability than when Porter who had 2 legendary HOFer's bracketing him?
The Chucky Factor was huge in late 2002. Minus the Chucky Factor the Eagles beat Buccs and Raiders beat Eagles in SB. Not only did Chucky know the Raiders but he also knew Reid.
@@notrichgannon9554 Thanks..yeah. Gannon was Raiders last consistent QB. He came fr us, Chiefs , to u all. I picked Raiders this season be Playoff shocker out AFC. Remember I sad this. Chiefs vs Raiders first Playoff game in 30 years happening this January. I was at last one...I was 14, Todd Maranovich started QB for u all.
@@jasonpeters9865 yep Todd was a bust overhyped and wasn’t ready for that game … tough loss to at Arrowhead… I was dejected… Jay should’ve started that game … I believe the final score was 10-7 in KC favor.
Man! Even though the score didnt show it. The Raiders pass game was wack. Funny how HC Bill Callahan wemt from a run game plan to changing it up to a pass game plan two days before playing the #1 def.
Jarrett Stidham can be Gannon 2.0 no BS! If Stiddy is smart he’ll study Gannon’s play from leadership to decisiveness. Stiddy scrambles and is aware like RG! Let’s go!!!!
Jeez watching this film makes you realize how bad this dude was. Saved by having elite WR and playing in that era. That slow motion pump fake thing would get him devoured today. Too slow.
