Hi Jeff. I had to come back to this video today because this was the first video where I learned about The Gold Lady. Today, I just found out that I actually work with her son here in Nevada. We started talking about metal detecting, then he told me his mom was actually a world known metal detector. He then showed me your update video about their murder, and had no idea that she was his mom until then. It truly is a terrible thing watching how he handles throughout the day. Thank you for introducing a lot of us to her, she was remarkable.

We think this is one of the richest veins we have ever seen ........ it averages 31 Ounce to the Ton and the vein is of Quartz , Limonite, ( no Sulfides ) with large free mill Gold , Tourmaline, Mica and Garnet in this deposit . The Gold Lady ( Retta ) was nice enough to take me there and show me how effective the GPX 6000 and GPZ 7000 are at finding Gold and that is how they found this deposit . If you are looking for a New Minelab the her and Darren are the best out there and will show you exactly how to use it to get the most Gold possible and if you are nice they may take you to their claim ....Gold everywhere . (thought it would work as normal due to it being water proof within certain parts of the detector), on dry land and sand worked well. My first one, so still have lots to learn

I live in Kentucky now, but whenever I was a kid my grandmother lived in Kingman, and she used to take me out to Golden Valley to look for arrowheads and other stones. She used to teach at a elementary school there every once in a while, we would go there and show them how to wire wrap rings and necklaces

Myself and two mates hunted a creek ledge with the monster, sdc2300, gpx 6000 and the zed lol we took turns running each target in the sidewall with each machine. Extremely fun and a ripper learning curve. We pulled out 23 peices of gold from a side wall about 2m long, 800mm high and dug back into the wall a good 800mm. 🇦🇺 soil.

I'm a retired 70yr old on a VA pension so I don't have $6-7,000 to start my gold prospecting adventure. I know I want a totally waterproof detector as my idea is to walk mid streams to locate where gold is collecting.and then run a None Gas Motor Dredge in that area.

Hey Jeff! A Question!: I am familiar with the "Two-handed technique", but am wondering if you go over your little pile of discarded material after you find the target in your scoop. Because if you don't, aren't you taking a chance (though small, I am sure) that there were 2 or more targets in the scoop and you may have discarded it/them without realizing it because you were still getting a signal from the scoop? Does that make sense? Thanks for the most excellent videos!!

I work near one of the San Andreas fault cut outs all the time, I'm pretty sure there's gold there. I get big chunks / thin of quartz crystal there all the time there. It was a crystal quartz veins sticking out of the ground but when I went back a year later AT&T built a cell tower over that whole area so it's kind of hard to find now. I can send you pictures if you like but you should see the cutout you can see the rock twirling

Was interested in getting a pi. Pretty cool little demo. I tried the 14 inch coil for the gb2 for depth. It works well but I was definitely missing the shallow pickers in some cases. Might be user error. Either way a good detector pays for itself within a week in my opinion!

I will add one more little bit. After the second shock the doctors said to me. We do not usually get to talk to guys like you! I was in shock obviously and only later did I really undertsand what he was getting at..........Honestly a sledge hammer wouls have more subtly and compassion than our Canadian medical system. When things get better Jeff I wan t to come to one of your workshops. Keep it reall in an unreal world from Alberta, Canada. Oh, I am well grounded now!) So cool to see the two of you working together. Retta knows me as the young guy who use to buy her rock collection when her shop was on Gordon in Kingman. She probably doesn't remember me by name, but she would recognize me if I showed up in her store. Purchased a few pieces of equipment from her, including a drywasher and blower vac her son made, also.

Jeff, I was serious about digging that mine in central NC. I've made it extremely safe as you asked. I've found many of the angular rocks when cracked open appear like iron, decomposing granite that gets progressively harder the deeper I go and it's fractured. Chalky to low quality quartz veins. Random quartz rocks from small to football size. Any chance we could discuss things? Do you ever have time? Could I send some pictures?
