First time I've seen this anything from RDA this year. He's lost some of the weight he put on after hurting his back badly for probably the hundredth time. He's looking well. I'm so glad to see him up walking and standing without the look of pain in his face.
jstrey He was a long time on prescription steroids. The side effects include an increase in weight. I gained 50 kg or about 110lbs. You can’t really reduce the weight until you finish the steroids.
Try 60's. I just had my 60th birthday! I watched MacGyver in the 80's when it was on TV. Then I later watched him on Stargate. So a lot of his fans are older than 40.
I was there. These conventions usually attract young people .But when someone like RDA is invited you can get older people too. Thanks to reruns of MacGyver + Stargate ,he has a lot of fans. A LOT! (I saw the lines).
He looks really good in this interview. Looks more in shape than the last time I saw him.I felt bad for him. It was hard to understand some of the questions. The sound was awful.
Wouldn't it be nice to have RDA as a special guest appearance/cameo/steady role in the new Mcgyver series as the father of the new one...kinda like Indiana Jones having a son of some sort...? 👍😉
Season 5 Episode 13 Live and Learn - MacGyver gives a physics demonstration at a high school and Christopher's character Deron is the football jock he uses in the demonstration. He's only interested in sports, but MacGyver tries to make him believe that by concentrating in studying, he could go way further than to Super Bowl.
Richard Dean Anderson does not have a facebook page. But there is a website where Kate (administrator of the site) post news from RDA: be it convention updates or "note from Rick". There is also a forum and info about series/movies he did: Richard Dean Anderson website: rdanderson.com.
Ignorant people ? I think you're a bit hard .Many people don't speak English very well .They simply tried because they didn't want to miss the opportunity to talk to him. This was Belgium, remember ?
Clutch Cargo 1: Typically. They do tend to be on the younger side. Besides SG1 is the most recent of the two. And had a longer run. Consider that if you were 20 when Mc began to air, you're now in your forties. 2:FACTS is the Belgian comic con, and SG1 is sci-fi. Lots of sci-fi geeks at comic con.
I think Richard was put in a tough spot here, how do you politely tell the host rep that his english is utterly rubbish and you can barely understand anything coming out of his mouth, let alone expect Richard to respond to anything his saying. Just hate ignorant people like that.
