Starring Dick Powell and written by John Michael Hayes and E. Jack Neuman, this episode of Richard Diamond starts with a woman asking for the whistling shamus' help and then dropping dead at his feet. However, before he can solve her murder, he must renew his detective license! Also starring Virginia Gregg (Kitty), Peggy Webber (Doris, Bridget), Sheldon Leonard (Romano, Joe Riley), and Herb Vigran (cabby).

This is a very entertaining episode of "Richard Diamond, Private Detective," with one of my favorite detectives. This is a good dramatization with a good script, pacing, direction, and voice acting. The audio, as always, is excellent.

Man did they ever snowball people with their cigarette commercials. Made them sound good and diminish all the dangers. Little did the public know. These shows are classic.
