Awesome video. Linklater is my favourite director, I totally dig his philosophy on cinema and moments. Without his influence I wouldn't be trying to make the films I intend to make.
Boyhood is my all time favourite movie ever just because those little moments like one day when they were kids with their father and mason lying to his friends about his first time with a girl and his first job and of course the ending scene where the mother breaks ((i just thought there would be more )) this line hits me every time . those little moments are real life
Such a cool edited video! I love how it is a bunch of moments stitched together to describe the message it's trying to convey! Just found the channel today and I'm loving it. Keep it up! 💪
I just recently found your yt channel and god damn yo videos are really good. Well edited and everything. I already know youre just gonna keep growing and growing. And u deserve it 💯
Excellent channel! Your videos are wonderful. Loved the Mad Men one as that is my all-time favorite series, followed by The Americans. If the latter is a show you watched or would consider getting into, I'd love to see your take on it. Thanks for the great content. 👍
Discovered your channel today and really enjoyed watching your videos. Could you please do a video on some great movie and tv show suggestions? or is there an IMDB list that you've made?
Basically, on my point of view, there is: - Hanging Out When You're Young: Dazed & Confused, School of Rock, Everybody Wants Some!!, Apollo 10 1/2 - Pseudo-Philosophical Dreamy: Waking Life, Boyhood, Before Trilogy, Slacker - Pessimistic Dreamy: A Scanner Darkly, SubUrbia, Tape They are all great, that's what I can say.
when i first saw slacker i felt that it is soo point less , then watching subsequent richard linklater films i've realised more and more of slacker sounds wierd ik
He’s made a few good films and I admire his belief in good, stimulating discussion to push a movie forward. But he’s also made a number of stinker films; films that are just forgettable and take away from the artistry he so champions.
