Your first question shows your ignorance. In those days, 1963 a film in an 8 millimeters camera lasted about only 3 minutes. Being born in 1963 and my parents filming me all the time, then my sister in 1966, we had a full box of those 3 minutes reels. Zapruder's film wasn't full of the 3 minutes because he filmed something else before. He knew maybe one minute, one minute and a half was remaining in the camera. He begins to film the first motorcycles when they turned the corner. He realized it wasn't the motorcade itself so he stopped filming to spare film frames. Then when he saw the limousine he resumed filming... That's the answer of your first question. And to make you more ''intelligent'', before movies in theaters were shot with digital cameras, they use huge 35 millimeters cameras like Panavision for instance. How long do you think a single roll of film last for movies filmed with cameras with film inside? Only 10 minutes a roll... Even with a Panavision in 2010... Watch the movie from Alfred Hitchcock named ''Rope'' from 1948. Hitchcock used only 9 shots to make the entire film using all the film in every roll. So you have 9 to 10 shots with 9 to 10 minutes each so the editing was easy! And the movie is perfect. If a comedian forgot his lines at 6 minutes of spent film, they had to redo it with a new 10 minutes roll... Must have cost a lot in film but the movie was done is less than a week in the same studio...

@russellroesner6073 Hi Russ, Dick Stolley didn't know anything about the sanitation that was done on the Z-Film. Stolley did what he was instructed to do by Charles Douglas Jackson, offer the prearranged amount & contract of $50k up front for one week to get the Film-Stills, or Frame-Prints if you will, for use in Life Magazine's November 29th issue. Stolley was told that there would be two people waiting for him there from the Secret Service, who knew what to do. Once in Chicago, Stolley was met by two Secret Service Agents. He gave them the Z-Film. From there, the two agents took the film and delivered it to Kodak at their Headquarters, in Rochester, New York. At Kodak, inside their R&D Department, they had an separate area, A Secret/Restricted Area there known by the CIA as ''Hawkeye Works''. See, the CIA already had abeen working secretly with them. Kodak's Hawkeye Works had been Developing the U-2 Spy Plane Film, taken on all their Flyovers, from there it went to the CIA's ''NPIC'' department. NPIC actually stands for, National Photographic Interpretation Center. That is where all the U-2 & Satellite Film goes for Processing, (The Spy Satellite started back in 1959), and still goes there today, just under a different name. While at Hawkeye Works, they made 1 Duplicate copy of the Z-Film, along with a set of what are called Briefing Boards for the Secret Service, which they used whenever they had to show anyone in the government. The Briefing Boards size then were 10''x20'', 20''x40'', and each board had a certain amount of Film Frames. I can't remember how many frames per board, but that's not all that important.(I still can't find the 3x5 I noted it on so.) At any rate, once the Currier, Boards & Film arrive at NPIC on Saturday Evening around 9:00pm, the Secret Service Currier ''Code Name''- Bill Jones hands the Boards & Film over to Dino Brugioni, Deputy Assistant to the Department Head, Author (Art) Lundahl. Brugioni has members, ''His Team'' there with him to go over the Briefing Boards, and then they watch the Z-Film. After all their notes are made, then Brugioni gives ''Bill Jones'' the Briefing Boards, (Now I don't remember if those Boards were also 1: Kept by Brugioni at NPIC, like he kept the copy of the original Z-Film, 2: They went directly to Secret Service in Washington DC, 3: They went back to Hawkeye Works. All I remember is Jones left NPIC on Sunday at 1:30am, on the 24th for Rochester, New York... Next Bill Jones gets back to Hawkeye Works, he gives the sealed Instructions to the man in charge there. They make the necessary changes to New Z-Film & of Briefing Boards, to head back to NPIC. This is now late Sunday Morning, or early Afternoon. Once back at NPIC, Jones is again met by Dino Brugioni, but this time, Brugioni has a different Team there waiting. At which time, they look at the New Briefing Boards & then view the ''Also New'' Z-Film. Now everyone is waiting for Brugioni to finish with this Film, Hawkeye Works is waiting & now Life Magazine in Chicago is waiting. Time is tight because Hawkeye Works is supposed to make the Prints for Life magazine to use in the November 29th issue. Although it's getting late, Bill Jones takes this set back to Hawkeye Works, they make the prints that they are now instructed to make by NPIC, then once Kodak (well Hawkeye) is finished, the Sanitized Film Prints & Sanitized Copy of the Zapruder Film is then delivered to Life in Chicago. Where Life Uses Black & White Prints in the Magazine... (No one knows what NPIC ended up doing with that 1st Zapruder Film, I know that the CIA has never mentioned that they had/have a copy)..... The copy of the Z-Film is viewed by Richard Stolley and one other person before the Z-Film is Locked up in a Vault. It remains locked up until 1976. NPIC then has another Slightly Sanitized Copy of the Z-Film which is then sent to the National Achieves. During the Clay Shaw Trial in New Orleans, Jim Garrison takes the National Achieves to Court, where Garrison wins, and is then given their copy to show the Jury in New Orleans. It was that copy that Photography Annalist Expert Robert Groden, obtains His Personal Copy. Last Groden keeps a copy that he made in New Orleans, then He Locks It up, and he would only allow other Researchers to view it as long as he is there to witness the viewing, before leaving with ''His Film.''... Now according to the Secret Service, they do not have any Briefing Boards, nor do they have a copy of the Z-Film..... (Everyone seems to loose this stuff).... Now Groden finally decided to start selling copies of his film in 2003 when the Digitized DVDs could be made. I'm sure he sold VHS Copies but when films started to go Digital, in 2002 so does Groden. I just bought a Like-New DVD Copy of Robert Groden's Film that he named. _____________JFK Assassination Files, _____________The Case For Conspiracy. It contains about 12 Films that were taken that day in Dealey Plaza. There's about 3 or 4 film clips that the FBI didn't collect because they didn't think they were relevant. One film clip shows Two or More People Standing in the last Two Windows on the Far Right of the 6th Floor in the TSBD Building. Not Relevant Right...
