Such a wonderful piece. Sounds so different with the septet: much darker. with a heavier bass. Thank you, this is a version for which there are almost no commercial recordings. So this is priceless...

PS why are the violas on the left. To get the proper balance, you need the violas on the right. I know this is not the normal layout, but there is no conductor and it makes more sense....

Huw Zosimos Easier to play with the basses in the middle. And the balance is just fine.
