Super underrated artist... imagine his apex of music... and when we all imagine, it makes it true. Thank you for leaving a “present” for all of us for remembering you. God bless your soul.
Richard...I miss you. You were a good friend. Thankful that I got to see you every time you came to Austin. I didn't know this would be the last time I would see you. If I did I would've told you how much I loved you. Too easy man.
Just discovering this. It's bittersweet bc the talent is so obvious. Wish I could've been there to tell him his music would live on. PS contrary to the title that's the Inside Stage at Mohawk. Played there myself a few times.
What a great sound and recording! Sorry I was late to the party on Richard, I knew him through his contributions on SF59 but wasn’t aware of his solo art. RIP
i remember sayin from afar perhaps back behind to the side of the stage or back of audience... i think i spoke a bit this photographer or writer the magazine. i said that set up were the keyboards face each other will look like a mirror image and be a great picture or video angle to shoot. he or she asked did you spend lots of time in motels or something.. uh no....why? he/she says yeeaa right.... keep a hard kr face and play dumb. excuse me biatch? whatcha me! ...you heard me! and sure enough...if you watch the video it looks just i described before it was ...ya know....filmed
the sodium lights I'm pretty sure that millions heard "Would you" but only thousands knew the genius behind it. In fact, that's how I got to know the other great n beautiful songs of him. Succes came late,it's fucked up.
