Unfortunately, free travel within Africa will cost billions. Africa is projected to make US$24.42 bn from travel and tourism with a growth rate of 4.98% annual through 2028. US$13.43 bn (55%) is intra-Africa travel of which visa revenue is est. US$3.49 bn. That's the problem that Africa will have to solve. It's not personal it's business--economics.
Dangote is best friends with Billy Gets *, so watch out for his products. Like fertilisers being made by Billy in Africa with Dangote and being sold across Africa
What passport have to do with development? Have good president who cares about their people and make them rich! It is not visa that developed a country!
EXACTLY!! How shameful!😓 How ridiculous!! Who's to blame? Those that are weak, greedy, and have governmental power to enable "those folks"👹💪🏾 continue keeping their knee on Africa neck!!!💪🏾😡💯
Black self respect has been completely annihilated with we forgive. Truth in Reconciliation. So the people who brutalized black people are allowed to go unpunished. But the pain inside of black people goes towards one another and the system of racism and ws continues!
indeed. I think the cameraman even panned over the audience and at least one head of state was in attendance. But, relatedly, it seems to me that every head of state in africa feels like they would be a bullseye if they did it.
Charity begins at home 🏡. If you get your house in order, everything else falls into place. Help your people in order to help yourself. Simple as that.
And the only way to do that is to take your power back from the financial colonizer But how without being called racist. Or white hater. That’s something the international bosses hold over the heads of black people.
for goodness sake, who the hell do we have to talk to to get rid of this freaking visa restriction? How can a French person don’t need to have visa but African needs to have visa in Africa this needs to come to an end.
I love the content of this video but I have to comment on this beautiful, gorgeous, and elegant looking Ethiopian sister. Wow! I am impressed. Her color everything about her says top shelf. God has turly blessed you in the looks department.
Great point...The big question [The Elephant in the Room] Why are the leaders of Africa against having (1) innovative solution to move more freely throughout the different borders...This would change the game significantly for the natives of Africa. (2) We need more honest leadership, to include the locals to benefit from the foreign relations, instead of only the people in power benefitting. These two takes the peoples voice ringing in the streets, and a selected group of counselors to properly represent the people to bring about unity instead of division. Looking out for your neighbor as family is the key. 1- 💜ve from you North America West Coast Family. [Peace & Blessings] 🙏🕎🙏
My beautiful sister you are wide awake, keep up the good work. I love you, and the great work you're doing. One love,Jamaica in de house. Peace and blessings.
It's not about him alone, he's speaking for other Africans , ordinary people who travel round the continent; these border issues need to be resolved ASAP to promote business and economic growth on the continent
@@blackcoraltv6787 The approach taken by the RU-vid is unfortunate. It tries to give an answer to the old age question: “A China man has 10 goats and 23 sheep. How old is the China man?”. What is your take on this question?
@@blackcoraltv6787 I have said before that the RU-vid video is unfortunate. It tries to answer the old conundrum of “A China man has 10 goats and 23 sheep. How old is the China man?” Your comment has not answered the underlying questions.
I remember I and my friend used to say that we needed to buy a bicycle before we can do sports (cycling). Actually that was only an obstacle that we unconsciously put to prevent us from doing sports because we could get up one day and start jogging. The same is with Africa, we want regional markets to work before expanding... Why not implement and enforce the free African Trade once and for all?... What will happen will happen...
Very correct there's an enemy behind. Let's our leaders help us. How can the westerner passport have a privilege in our continent meanwhile the locals don't enjoy thesame.
Look at it this way. One day 90% of African countries are economically developed to the standard that their citizens enjoy the fruits of their own countries. Do you think there would be restrictions on movement in Africa. Africa needs economic advancement before open borders among ourselves work or else some countries will suffer like south Africa with over immigration. Kenya is at the moment harbouring lots of Ugandans, Rwandese, Burundian immigrants.
Cmon now we know the deal. Marcus "black moses" Garvey laid out the blueprint that we can choose to follow Walter Rodney wrote 'How Europe Underdeveloped Africa" and gave us the Secret. So why are we still here? Its because we have turned our backs on our Warrior Ancestors and our African Spirituality. Religion have us weak This is an easy fix, reclaim our Music and begin the process or reshaping our Culture and Minds of the people...Oracle
Problem with African nations is that we are not on the same level of development & freeing the borders abruptly may cause floodgates from dysfunctional countries to more functional ones causing a massive overcrowding of schools & other amenities in more established countries..I just have no answer how we could resolve this EMINENT problem..Only thing perhaps that may help the situation is to have one strong African Federal government to force & spread out good governance & management of institutions all across the continent..
The reason it’s not getting fixed is not because of disagreement with making this tyoe of passport. It’s because of the other factors involved and what it means to The each countries Independence and sovereignty.
The problem you don’t understand is other countries have institutions set to keep the safety and security of the country. In Africa you can commit crimes and get away easily. It’s no not easy it’s very complicated.
Tere are travel restrictions in countries around the world for people who can't substantiate their income, legal, and criminal status. So it doesn't make sense to equate Mr. Dagote with Africans who can't meet certain requirements. What risk does he pose for the countries vs. an average french national?
Very challenging. How do you deal with a problem where once VISAs are gone, some small countries would get an influx of people in a short period of time? Where will they live? What will they eat? How will they survive? Where will they find jobs? How will the economy fare? Who will deal with the ensuing lawlessness and crime? I see all these complaints about not having free travel, but no one wants to answer these questions. These are questions that leaders ask themselves when they meet to discuss VISA free travel. It has happened by the way in some places already, when people thought VISAs were no longer required to ender a country. You don't sign off until these concerns are taken care of.
Guys, we did not even have an idea of nation states. Borders were drawn haphazardly. The neocolonial Africans are still the leaders. It has only been 60 years since most countries got independence. The idea and the will is with young people. This processes take a long time. Britain was colonized for over 500 years, Portugal Spain for 780 years!
For an African needing visa to travel within the African continent Doesn't make sense European don't need visa to travel within the European continent Europe have free trade within Europe and Africa Well its not really a trade with Africa Its more like exploitation of Africa but Europe don't have issue with trade Unlike Africa Their audacity for them to call Africa a 3rd world and impoverished continent is absurd because they design it with the aid if their colonial systems They also have the audacity to act holier-than-thou By worldwide public announcement Acting like white saviours giving aid charity to Africa They just forgot to announce to the world The term & conditions that comes with giving AID
🤔 He’s the richest “ black man “ in the world he doesn’t have any problems. If he does then he has the money to fix them. Africa needs to fix its border issues and stop treating Africans like foreigners and foreigners like they belong there. 🤷🏽♂️✊🏾✊🏿✊🏽
But he's best friends with Billy Gets *, so watch out for his products. Like fertilisers being made by Billy in Africa with Dangote and being sold across Africa
The big issue with processing a visa free to move arround Africa has to do with the political structures under the many dictatorship leaders that uses such opportunities for their gains making them powerful in prolonging the presidential terms in office. The people that suffers are the african citizens and african business folks that wants the visa free knowing clearly that those leaders uses diplomatic passports. Remember that Ethiopia and Nigeria over poppulated and its government fails its people in terms off poor service delivery, we will say the same thing in Nigeria being the fourth best economy in Africa today failing its people, the ongoing on tribal religions and ethnic violence in many african states such as in Ethiopia and Nigeria let alone in Congo in many African states displaced as refugees or economical migrants that courses a strife amongst Africans that results from the squabble for limited resources. The most important thing Africa will have to resolve is allowing full political human rights practices and leaders staying in power for two terms maximum 8yrs then end displacements by providing full service delivery to its population that require assistance in terms off providing the three basic needs to those that are left behind. Then u get AFRICAN leaders that will utilize African wealth, lands and resources better to be able to make proper trade deals that will benefit the country and its people not one family King Mswati or king Selassie or Kagame. Those dictatorship leaders are mostly tied to the colonial business partnership programs that directs each and every African state and now having the new players like china in Ethiopia and in many parts off Africa making trade deals that benefits china as our leaders makes the wrong deals in collateral to African resources, lands and wealth. All done by the Majority dictatorship dumb aftican leaders that sees the free visa travel as an opportunity for them not the people off Africa. The boarder visa on arrival Makes sense for business trade deals and the education, with gov to gov exchange programs for now Until the many political, displacements, service delivery are resolved. Once u open the boarders to overpopulated Ethiopians and Nigerians and the many African states that do not resolve their internal political affairs, the poor service delivery mess, and leaders staying in power forever. False Displacements creates the ongoing misunderstanding on the squabble for limited resources with the left behind to that host nation. Look at the US and UK for example on the migrants crises we see today on the news the locals aint happy with that and u think the boarders should be open without resolving the many issues on poor service delivery, bad leadership mess across the boarder, Somalia having difficult time in fixing their own problems, Nigerians on the other hand too much going on. Its not a personal matter or emotional African citizens wanting a free visa to move arround it also has to do with security those dictatorship leaders not trusted and poor identification Information systems that can identify illigal and legal migrants, housing shortages and few jobs and poor health care systems.
It's not a curse. It's control. The colonizers never left. We Africans don't talk to each other. Since we don't talk to each other, we don't really know what we can do for each it other. Yes, we have missions or embassies but those operate from the carefully curated strings of the colonizers. We (Africans) are still dancing to the tune that was first played at the 1884 - 1885 Berlin conference. European put themselves first before any and all other. If they have a right to do that, we certainly have a right to do thesame. Regardless, it's out God given right to do as we please. But if we forgo our inherent rights in exchange for only those the masters are willing to let us have, then we'll remain downtrodden. We are the richest continent in the world. All that is left is for us to truly control our resources and with that our destinies. The great Fela once sang "..... human right na my property, so therefore, you can't dash me my property" Meaning that we are born free and human rights are our inherent right ordained by God (or nature if you don't believe in God). It is not a thing to be granted by others.
Boo-boo 1st of all he should hold a diplomatic statues, if Nigeria doesn’t provide him with that! That a problem. 2nd why investing in country that can possibly denied you entries. He is rich not intelligent! Could you lend me money knowing that I can prevent you to physically get it back?. And this is an Africans problem. Africans still sleeping, who to blame?
