Its called air return ducts, and they are not so the doors wont slam. When your central HVAC is turned on, and the air is comes out of the register, it pushes the air through the return so it can be circulated back to the HVAC unit.

Smart! I chose to insulate everything too including the garage and even the garage doors. They’re building this in 6 months?

Congrats to you Jack, and to John. Would a jacuzzi spa work for John, or does he want a swimming pool also? I'd just go with the spa. A pool seems to become a headache down the road with equipment breaking down and cracks in the pool. Not to mention the liability that goes with a pool.

Can that home really be completed by that date? I would figure it’s further from completion than the date stated but maybe you guys are building faster out there in Vegas?
