Rick and Morty Season 7 is here. After Justin Roiland exited the series, does Rick and Morty still hold up after 7 series? Twitter - / jasper_reviews #rickandmorty
I think they tried a few different things to get an idea of what worked and what didn't. Similar to phase 1 of the mcu. Thanks for the comment be sure to subscribe!
I.e. them teeing up evil Morty getting those plans and then it's like it never happened. Rick prime died and nothing. The observer cosmic beings were seemingly unaware of their own abilities and shortcomings for all seeing rocks. Jerricky is never brought up, in fact Jerry isn't seen unless it's in the Hole and not even real. It feels lazier
The heart and soul are gone, it's no longer the same show. Justin voiced so many other side characters and mr poopybutthole himself. I hate mortys voice. Last episode was the only truly good episode this season
Watch something else brother, I think the voices are more tolerable now w/o all that burping and bad improv. This is by far the best season since S4 and I don’t think anyone other than a small group who nit pick every line can tell the difference
@@bocajmedia you're crazy bro. I love Rick n Morty exactly for the bad improv and burping. thats what made it unique. and if you cant tell the difference between the voices youre tone deaf. also a lot of the episodes were super ass
I agree very hit and miss series but as I said in my video I think it's about finding their feet and seeing what works moving forward. Thanks for the comment be sure to subscribe
The writing is not good is simple as that.. they answer questions that shouldn’t be answered. The feeling I get is they run out of ideas and are grasping for direction.
I thought it was ricks voice that was the most noticible. But for me the big driving factor holding this season back is that they keep using lazy character develpments. Example being that a character has a part removed from them forcibly or otherwise to change them or added. Like jerry being ricks friend cause of a fortune. Morty loosing the part of rick that doesnt trust him. And 90 percent of this season was filler. That is why i dislike it BUT the 2 episodes we got for story were okay
I grew on Rick's voice to be honest, I do agree character development seemed a bit cheap. Rick seems to genuinely like his family now and isn't so brash and mean to them. Some very good episodes but felt hit and miss. Hope you enjoyed the video be sure to subscribe
@JasperReviews my post that be said, I do give them a slight bit of slack because I feel like they wrapping up all story lines. Ie evil morty and Rick prime in 1 season because the ideas were probably roilands and his stories probably won't make too much sense going forward. I hope that the new writers are juat going to end those loose ends and then start new stories?
