"The only one who looks like real shit now, Ice. Ice gonna stay lookin the same way forever." If that was a compliment, I could see how someone might not see it as one
Rick James was giving that guy a compliment and he didn’t seem to comprehend. He was saying that he would stay looking young and won’t change. One hit wonders!
Surely that shirt wasn't the only one he had. He spent his money on the smokes and drugs he had. Which later killed him! And vanilla. Is mad cause the people that created that ice ice baby video! Made him look like an idiot. Didn't he try to sue them. I know he took the video tape and burned it.
Ice don't be mad cuz people remember you for a singular song and image, it's not like you were around long enough to evolve and diversify as an artist.
I can tell ya first had I know just how Ice felt. I felt the same way back in 2002 when I met Rick. It took me 24 years to meet him and it was well worth it. He was so down to earth. A BIG thank you to Val Young because when Rick was in the hospital she kept me and Rick connceted. I told Rick that I wouldn't tell anyone he was in the hospital until he got out and I kept my word to him...
It's astounding to try to comprehend the contrast of Jeremy's life experience: going from life as a rich and famous star, to a helpless prisoner for the rest of his life.
@@pontiacreddz4021 There were women there, just not in the house at the time. Traci Bingham from Baywatch, Trishell from The Real World, and Televangelist Tammy Faye Bakker. Odd group.
Today is Rick James birthday and I wanna look at this memory and remember a great and talented man who made all Of us get up and dance happy heavenly birthday 😢☀️🙏
If you think about it Ice's song came out in 1989 and RJ was smashing the charts only 10 years earlier.. Music genre used to change fast back in the day but it has stood still since the early 90s..
The funny thing now is that Vanilla embraces it now. I think Vanilla during the filming of this show was insecure about his former image and was defensive into separating his actual self from his public image.
I remember seeing DJ Polo (Kool G Rap's DJ) pull up with none other than Ron Jeremy in Corona Queens in the 90's, them dudes were in a orange 64 Impala, talk about surreal lmao.
I remember watching this for the 1st time it was hilarious and let me be the 1st if he would've showed up on my doorstep I beyond shadow of a doubt, would've absolutely lost my goddamn mind!!!! Do you have any clips from rick's episode of behind the music?
He told VANILLA" Youll always look the same" and " Embrace the song your famous for" VANILLA WAS SUICIDAL FOR A WHILE OVER IT".. You can tell Vanilla was excited over that meeting! Ice got dangled over a balcony and started up the DEATH ROW INC. HE SAID CRAZY WORLD. And Ice started flipping houses now in West Palm. Good for him
WOW i would had love to given this man a hug and eric knows how u hung some one you really love and care about not some chicken shit pat on the back these is awesome my eyes are sweating .
As Rick James is sitting on that couch it takes me back to David Chappelle show when he if you haven't seen the sitcom of that you will have a good time enjoying Charlie Murphy's when he was telling the story about how Rick James grinded his feet into Eddie Murphy's couch hilarious
yeah rob had a hard time with the old image, but think of all the rappers that come to mind , and vanila ice is one of the few..seriously rob this is what made u otherwise u would have been just some dude living with a white chick in my buidling going to work everyday..
50% of it is editing. The other 50% is that Ice (especially at this time) had ventured so far away from his old image, that it was always very disheartening when the world chose to simply remember him for that one song.
Ron has done an awful lot with, well, with a lot, lol. He as actually gained a certain folklorish respect. How many male porn stars alive today have managed that? Ummm, NONE!
Omg I used to have this awful frienemy/room mate and we would party like crazy. Every time he got caught drinking and driving Ron would come to the rescue and talk the Beverly Hills PD down and he/we would drive away.
