She is Premier and a good one at that, and the federal government, arguably the worst in history, is the "touchy, feely, gender-bending, believin' in climate change party" he joked about. Weird.
Rick does interviews with politicians better than anyone. He gets them to relax and let their guard down and laugh a little. We see a little more about the person which I truly appreciate.
Well said! when I get into these arguments with people, what is frustrating is their lack of knowledge when it comes to the oil sands. All I ask of people is to educate yourself in the matter.
libertarian does not equal social liberal. She doesn't think government should regulate abortion or same sex marriage, doesn't mean she personally feels that way.
Everything Danielle said about not wanting to run a negative campaign went out the window the second she started to run. Watching her and Redford go at it at the 2012 debates was like watching a cat fight.
@sarcee1960 Nothing extremist about Danielle and Wildrose...smaller government, increased personal responsibility, bigger tax breaks for volunteering to help the less fortunate and real democracy through allowing free votes by MLAs....if that's an extremist party, then so be it.....the term is actually Libertarian, where the government gets out of the way and facilitates to lift Alberta to better position.
@Oilerfan5 haha, fair enough...she seems so well spoken and I'm like, "wow, maybe the wild rose aliance isn't so bad"...and then my mind catches up and I realize I sound like Sarah Palin at a Tea party raley...haha...so in conclusion, I must agree with you.
lps_ angel_of_cuteness haha, its okay. you are too sweet. Well apart from the mall, looks like Edmonton has a hot politician to brag about... Lol, don't have to be sorry. I should be sorry for being rude. So I say .... I am Sorry in Justin Bieber's tone.
Perhaps you're right, which is why I worry about half her election promises--most so far unmet--contradicting what she's said previously. Shit you don't joke about, like selling off AHS
What studies show the oil sands causing earthquakes? I agree that Oilsands cause a lot of environmental damage but a tiny bit of digging in the oil sands causing any sort of major seismic impact? It seems unlikely.
The BEST ride at WEM ever!!! I give Danielle a term in as Premier to do Fantastic and make me forgive her for effffing up Albertans by leaving the Wildrose just before a vital election that got us Nutley in. What a disaster!!!!!
She was trying to unite the two parties, which is what eventually happened anyway. Having two conservative parties is what made the NDP win. Since they merged we have had two UCP majorities.
You mean inspirational like saying Alberta needed a new government before promptly betraying her own party and joining the government she had criticized? Inspirational like that?
@@ericstollery1WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? You're upset she's battling our dictator? Ohhh shucks for you! GET REAL. Stop being on the wrong side of Canadian history, or you're gonna learn eventually......
@@joalyincontroly4379 YUP ! This time around I voted UCP. Notley is and was a LIAR . I started calling her 'Leninade Notley' . A vote for 'Leninade Notley' is a vote for the Trudeau/Singh Coalition , and Alberta Does NOT need that !
@@jackpontiac52 Alberta, Canada and indeed the entire world does NOT need any more of the Marxist WEF corporate globalist bullshit. Sagmeat and TUrdeau are working with/for powerful foreign entities against Canadian sovereign interests and should be tried for treason then punished to the harshest historical extent under Canadian law.
I would compare Alberta to Oklahoma. You have 2 Major Cities (Edmonton, Calgary) We have 2 Major Cities (Oklahoma City, Tulsa) You have oil. We Have Oil. You have native descendants. We have native descendants.
I have never heard if Alberta being abrasive with Eastern Canada. That's news to me.Could you then please tell me how many east coasters are there that are working in Alberta that are helping it's economy to stay afloat?💲💲👍
@riplearaelothian yeah, when i first heard about a new party i was thinking good, we need a more diverse selection of parties, since the conservatives win anyway. then i see their platform and it doesnt fit what alberta needs at all. granted i cant remember it....
The best part about all of this is that I found you posting on another video saying your credentials are that you read a lot. You're not a very good troll.
scratch that, shouldn't say no class cities because i have plenty of friends from both, should've said no class fan, as i have multiple examples of how they mistreat other fans. but either way in life one must respect before disrespecting.
Unless you are a bank...in which case you create money out of thin air and collect interest on it. That is as free as it gets and the greatest root of inequality and suffering in the world.
Shale natural gas is not the oil sands. I agree natural gas has the ability to cause seismic disturbances, and is very much worth of debate, but when talking about the oil sands, back up this statement, " Studies have shown the Alberta oil sands are causing earthquakes around the world because we are digging too much." or take it back.
this is youtube. If political debates can start on cat videos they definitely will on clips from a political show. On a side note I live in Edmonton and west Ed can get real boring.
No.. only just demading that Alison Redford isn't Albertan (BTW, I don't vote PC) And stating that we should have private healthcare, and take the rights of gays and women... not extreme at all...
well... she said she wasn't going to do negative campaigning... she did... like the reform/alliance/conservatives all the things that they say they'll do will be forgotten when they're in office.
