So encouraging. We r relevant. Can't wait to see RJ n see what we really have. I would love to believe we could see the second weekend in trny. Fingers crossed.
Awesome game! I agree about Wilcher and Dingle. Looking forward to this team just keep getting more comfortable together under Pitino’s style. The only thing I’m really nervous about is giving up a lot of offensive rebounds. Gave up 17 yesterday and against a physical team like UConn that will be tough to win with. But I will be at XL Saturday reppin the red that’s for sure
Thanks for the quick turnaround after the game. As always your comments are spot on. I don't understand why Joel is in the high post, especially in the first half. I realize he was setting lots of screens but it seems to limit his scoring opportunities. I see the potential in Dingke and like you I'm waiting for him to get into a groove. I was shocked when this 80% FT shooter missed his first two. Nahiem's firm ain't pretty but they drop. I think moving him to starter and upping his minutes was a real positive.
Thanks Rich! Joel does seem to love that mid range jumper. He’s had pretty good success with it all things considered but he’s so good inside I wish he’d go to it a bit less.

Good to hear ur commentary on Jenkins; however, it was diplomatic to a fault. Jenkins is a 5th yr senior who often plays like a freshman at a playground. His decision-making on the court STINKS! He forces bad shots and bad passes and hogs the ball on the dribble. He also cannot guard anyone. Pitino had to take him off the Fordham pt guard on Sat bc Jenkins could not stay with him. This will be St John;s downfall during their Big East schedule. The team looked MUCH better against Xavier while Jenkins was on the pine. Pitino has missed the boat w/regard to getting Wilcher quality playing time. That kid needed mins before conf play and Pitino didn't get him any. Also, Pitino's substitution pattern STINKS! It is obvious that players are playing scared---every time a bench guy makes a mistake on the court, he immediately looks to see if he is coming out of the game. When did Ledlum become Michael Jordan? He is a lousy shooter and Pitino should give some of those 'chucks' to Dingle and, especially, Conway. WHY does St John's continually ignore Soriano in the first half of almost every game? Lastly, WHAT was Soriano doing in the game the last 2-3 mins? Pitino is not coaching smart. I sincerely hope he 'ups' his game this wkend. Keep up the good work.
