I was going to say disgusting crap, but rap works 😄 Country music is trying to appeal to younger people today, and I can't take most of it. I still like the older people who are still performing, but most of it is garbage. I pretty much tuned out after 2014.
Well I wouldn't say that if I didn't like country music and today's country songs like Jackson dean and some other country artists who I should mention in the comment section on my opinion and of course the late great toby keith r.i.p
Yes, it was 1995. That's the year I got married, I was 22. That means Rick was 24 since he's 2 years older than me. I bought his 1st album on CD. I STILL love his music! 🤠👍🏼❤️
@@samzetroc2634 That's not true at all. Rick was a big deal in the 90s. He's done as well for himself as guys like Clint Black, Clay Walker, John Michael Montgomery, etc...
@@samzetroc2634 What a ignorant thing to say. He actually did very well and it had nothing to do with his last name. Real country fans don't care if your name is Smith or Rodriguez. Sounds like another racebaiter. Just chill out and enjoy the quality music from Trevino and others from his era.
Saw him at the waller county fair, after the show he pulled my then teenage girls up on stage and sat and talked to them for hours. They still talk about it
My mind immediately went to how I could be two stepping to this song on a dance floor, when I was listening to this. Indeed a great song to dance and be twirled around to.
Maybe the juke box can heal up a heartache But I'd go into debt Maybe the whiskey can wipe out a memory But it only hurts my head Maybe some dancing will pick me up But the best songs always ends Now I'm down and telling myself Time is a fools best friend. Doctor time, have mercy on me Don't wait too long to set me free Doctor time, I'm counting on you Cause your the only one Who can pull me through Friends tell me hard work can fill up the hours But it don't fill this bed A quarter says a phone call can bring forgiveness She'd hang up again Gotta find something to forget her Everytime I lay down There ain't a night goes by I don't wish I'd wake up a year from now Doctor time, have mercy on me Don't wait too long to set me free Doctor time, I'm counting on you Cause your the only one Who can pull me through Time tell the truth your the only one I trust How many weeks until I leave this heartache in the dust Doctor time, have mercy on me Don't wait too long to set me free Doctor time, I'm counting on you Cause your the only one Who can pull me through

In the older days they came from all around George johnny a few of the greats came right out of TN I believe and a few come from odd places but still old country was early 90's mid 90s and before is country idk what it is now 😂😂
In Robert ray's cover he changes "have mercy on me" to "I'm counting on you" but I'm here bc of the cover but I knew the original but idk who sang it until recently
