The cackle and roar from the Kawi triples still rings in my head after 40 years. I would hear these things singing in the night when I was a child, and I dreamed of the day I would own one myself. And I did. Wish I still had it. Nothing makes me tingle like the cackle of a triple with killer pipes.

That were the days when I got my driving license for big bikes❤. Race bikes were 2 stroke, a long time before 4 stroke engines have had the same power out of the same volume. Suzuki GT‘s, Yamaha RD‘s, those were the good old days of my teenage time. Thanks for bringing back memories 👍🇩🇪😎

Nice handle-bars.! Clip ons.? Can’t see it, cus of cockpit. Beautiful piece of history.! I had a 500 too in 1977. From all the bikes I had, I loved the 500 triple the most.! I’m sure you take good care of the bike.( cleaning, the flueds, etc etc. ). Again; a very nice bike.!! Thx for posting the video.!

Quelle merveille ! J'ai roulé sur route avec la version "civile" H1D et aussi avec S3 et H2. J'ai possédé également Yam 250 RD bleue et 350 RD ciolet entre autres 2 temps . Niveau cadre, j'ai toujours préféré le SEELEY que le RICKMAN. Merci pour la vidéo !
